Oh my gods, if Aeson winds up being this narcissistic overconfident drama boy I’m gonna be the happiest player in the world. Especially if they have crippling self-esteem and are buckling under the pressure of being ‘Chosen’ and having LITERAL GODS watching your every move (and knowing that you’re being a pawn in some game you can’t even begin to understand)

This was just a random thought but when you choose to sit with Calypso, Saint and Adonis with everyone looking your way, be it with hostility or otherwise, am I the only one that felt like The Avengers?

Adonis: a charismatic guy who works with metal (Iron-Man)
Calypso: a seemingly-belligerent girl focused on physical prowess and combat (Thor)
Saint: the mysterious leader of the group, seemingly doesn’t fit in (Capt America)
Lavei: a being with untold untapped power (Hulk)
I can see it now. Does that mean Aeson is either a skilled spy or an archer that can hit airborne aliens moving at top speed?

Now that you’ve mentioned the 60s, I can see Hera pulling a Hitchcock – specifically The Birds – on a rival.

And on topic with Poseidon, I can feel him being either self-deprecating in amusement or being mildly annoyed like “REALLY WHAT IS WRONG WITH YOU MORTALS” after watching Super Friends.
(Headcanon is that Poseidon actually likes Aquaman. He hates that he’s never recovered his rep after Super Friends)
