Yay! I love this WIP! Glad to see it’s still being worked on!

This is awesome!!!
Can’t wait for new updates and for it to finally be released.
Keep up the great work

I love it  your story is great. I can’t wait to see more!

I love Greek mythology!!! And I love your idea, however it does need some polishing. More characterizational choices for example, please update soon!!!

I’m really excited that you’re still doing it! I hope we will get a chance to romance one of the gods.

@Kayla, could you please elaborate? What kind of characterizational choices do you think it needs?

Thanks!

This game is really interesting! :stuck_out_tongue:

It would be funny if you made a male version of Cassandra names Cassander XD But I understand that would remove some of the immersion feeling-

@Teety12, I’ve considered it.

In some of the myths Cassandra has a twin brother, Alexander or Alexandros. In some of the myths Paris is her twin brother.

Playing as Paris would be a totally different (although intriguing) storyline. That’s more than I’m prepared to tackle at the moment, although it might be interesting as a sequel…

I’ve toyed with using Alexander for a male PoV, with the same basic storyline and choices. Right now I’m committed to finishing the book as-is, but I’ll keep the Alexander option in mind.

Forum hive-mind, let me know what you think.

Sounds awesome to me XD

Making it a sequel would be cool, but making this one have a few more options- not everyone likes playing a girl, I prefer playing male myself- will bring more viewers and players.

I prefer playing female protagonists given a choice admittedly, but I don’t think that Alexander going through more or less the same thing would add much except “You don’t have to play this as a woman”.

I’d rather see a focus on Cassandra and how our character has to struggle with her specific situation than have it generalized to the point whether the character is male or female is irrelevant.

Cassandra had many brothers, including Hector and Paris, but did any legend mention her twin to have the same prophetic abilities as her?
Anyway, If you keep the story close to the original mythology and historical facts, the things a male prince was expected to do wouldbe notably different. I think such a story would be more suited for a spin off than for a variation of the main game.

I agree with the two previous posters. Altering the story from a male perspective as Alexander would detract too much from the focus on Cassandra. There are other male gender-locked games, so why not have a female gender-locked game? If you decided to do a spin off, as WulfyK suggested, I think that’s feasible from Alexander’s perspective, but that would be a considerable amount of extra work for you to write a side story-line. Whether or not you think you have the time to commit to something like that is up to you, though

I said what I said but I do agree with the last poster after some thought, lol

I was actually so sad when the demo ended at the point where I was going to bath Achilles xD
