I’m sensing a theme with these names… The road ahead is going to be a little bit pokey, isn’t it?
Juuust a bit!
I’m so hyped!!
Me too, to be honest!
this looks really good, your writing is amazing
Oh, thank you so much! Looking to have a major update out very soon!
Minor comment–a new scene is almost here; I’ve been having some coding difficulties, but everything that happens is entirely written out. Please forgive my slowness! I think I was over-estimating my coding abilities when I said I’d have an update out ‘every week.’
Still, this is my lifesblood right now as my sibling @Fiogan will tell you, Bracken is all I talk about, and any song they share with me is immediately applied to my current universe. I also want to thank them for their support and help with some of the story issues I’ve been having, and I want to thank @MeltingPenguins for her encouragement and help with some of the more tricky coding problems (there will be more; I warn you! x) )
This is so great. When we were little my sister and I would pretend to be rodents and go on imaginary adventures (I was always a rabbit as a kid but I went with the next best thing on this list: the dormouse obv) so you have definitely made me fall in love with your story. I’m soooo looking forward to more and I can’t wait for updates!!
Aw, thank you!!! I loooove dormice. Such an underrated cute critter. I hope you continue to enjoy this!
Is it bad that my favorite rodent is the capybara?
But the rat is the second best to me, so I’m happy!
Not at all; capybaras remind me of like… wise old folks sitting at the tops of mountains.
And then they go
Absolutely choice rodent.
Any chance of us getting descriptions of the RO’s?
Sure. ^^
There’s Artegal and Kundry, whom you’ve met, as well as a frozen-in-time princess mouse from a derelict kingdom. I’m considering a couple characters you meet much later in the game as well, but my hesitation there is that you wouldn’t have as much time with them.
Not like that. I meant. So and so has long green hair and bright blue skin. They have purple eyes that might indicate royal heritage.
Something like that
Did we actually meet Kundry? I remember their name being mentionned during the song segment, but that’s it?
What gender are they?
And I agree physical descriptions would be cool. And maybe some personality indications?
It might be hard to describe them if their species is dependent on the MC? Not that I particularly expect that to be the case with any of them, but it can be done, and allow type specific flavor text, like fur colors, or how big/small they might be compared to the average.
Aaa, sure.
Artegal is a male shrew with grey hair and black eyes. He will always wear a monk robe. He is pious and uptight. (He has other qualities, but those are heavy spoilers ;p) Whether he opens up to you depends on the MC’s actions.
Kundry is a nonbinary (called tela in this universe) red squirrel. In modern times, their aesthetic would be called ‘punk.’ They have ear piercings and tend to wear motley colors. They’re a prophetic bard and play the hurdy-gurdy. Kundry’s probably the most supportive and agreeable of the ROs.
Princess Hannabelle is a female mouse with black-and-tan coloration (sort of like a doberman; mostly black with orangey-tan markings.) (Minor spoiler below.)
When you first meet her, she’ll be wearing a blood-stained wedding dress and ripped veil.
She can come across as angry and haughty, but also loves pranks and is fun-loving.
are those all the RO’s? or will there be more planned?
forgive me if it was already posted somewhere; i may have skipped it
Those are all for now. ^^ I’m considering some later game ROs, too, but I’m not sure, because players wouldn’t be spending as much time with them.
oh, thank you for answering! None of the them are my cup of tea (either not preferred gender or personality), so more Ros would be nice, but of course I understand why you may not want to add them ^^
the story itself is very interesting though
