KNOWN ISSUE: The end of the game will have an infinite loading glitch. It should have a “to be continued” screen because I haven’t uploaded chapter 1 yet, but I’m having trouble getting the right file to upload. TLDR: if you encounter the infinite load glitch after clicking on ‘Begin Chapter 1’, that means you’ve successfully finished the prologue. I will post an update here when chapter 1 is up.
On dashingdon, I could simply replace files with their updated versions and it would favor the new version. It looks like it isn’t that simple on CoGDemos. I’ve tried deleting all the files and reuploading it, but it still just reuploads the first upload. I’m guessing this is because the files share a name (I keep them in different folders for different versions of the game) so it could probably be resolved if I just change the file names so they aren’t identical… which would, of course mean updating the code to reflect new file names every time (ugh).
I’ll start that convention going forwards, but until I rename everything and recode, you will continue encountering the infinite loading error, unfortunately. However, as long as this error is triggered only after you click on ‘Begin Chapter 1’, everything should be fine and it means you’ve finished the prologue. Unfortunately, since I will have to restructure everything going forward, this likely means save files will be reset with every update. I apologize for the inconvenience!

Just to give you a heads up there seems to be a infinite loading screen when choosing the gash across your face option.
Also infinite loading on crooked nose option
When I chose any of the scar options, as other above me stated there is an infinate loading screen, but when I chose freckles I was able to progress with the story.

Great start to the game! It already gives several options for how to play it when the next updates come. Looking forward to that!

It looks like every ‘unique trait’ option is bugged except for the freckles option.
Currently focusing on restructuring the files and hopefully fixing these bugs. I will post an update here when the matter is resolved.

UPDATE: The infinite loading issues have been resolved!
After doing some digging on the forums, I found a solution for the files not updating correctly. (Looks like all I need to do is hard refresh every time I upload the updated files.)
