That is right. No minimum word count is required.
This is for fun! And in my case, To keep improving my English. Not all in the World is about winning, We could have fun to play with other games too. Also, I want to read yours
I signed up last night but am still waiting for my verification email. I’ve asked them to resend it.
I have no problems to sign up on the page. So is weird. I had the email automatically.
Also, @Gower Will be possible to have small testing and that or should be totally private until the end of context.?
Also I have 1,000 words done Yay…
You can totally have others help you beta and proofread and stuff. Doesn’t have to be totally private until the end.
I’ve requested again and double checked my email and it still hasn’t worked
Super rare as I did yesterday and was smooth I received the email of my user confirmation right away.
Maybe there are too many people trying to get an account or something? But I doubt that

Shouldn’t be I checked my spam folder. I’ll double check my settings though just to be sure.
edit: My spam filter just sends spam emails to my spam folder. I’ll try another email address.
edit 2: second email worked fine.Very odd indeed.
I think I will try to make a short one too.
Wait… No variables? As in, no variables whatsoever? So no cumulative effects of choices? No way to store a player name? No gender choice, unless you were to clone the whole story and run a search-replace for every pronoun in every scene?
Yikes.
Truly I salute you, O fearless warriors.
Nope, nothing like that and it is scary and super thrilling I having so much fun figuring out how to make stuff working. My solution neutral character with no gender alluded on game
While there is no variables there are certain ways around it but it is a daunting prospect. It just requires you to write out repeat scenes with the relevant info I.e the_bar_male and the_bar_female with the scene being the same but the MC bits relevant to their gender.
That is too much work for the short time I can spare so I will more than likely come up with a set protagonist
Yeah it’s pretty different?!? There are a lot of good stories though that work with it like Necromancer and Death Song though. Those have each choice lead to a totally different path. They just have set protagonists though usually but I was thinking I could, like, have a sort of non gender specific main character for mine maybe. Just use second person and it’s totally taken care of since I can’t do the romance scenes I wanted to do before.
I did a non-specific genre set character with two background classes to choose and one companion of two to choose. More than that, without variables I am not able to handle it.
That sounds pretty cool and could set you apart if you can pull it off. I think you can though!
Couldn’t you just make it so that your mc is just one gender no matter what? Sense wouldn’t itfeelwerid never referring the gender?
You can imagine your gender all you want in my game works because you are a Cougar person (Human with cougar DNA enhancements) in a second person game you don’t need to be remembered for your gender. You know what gender do you want to be and that is what you are
My initial idea was to allow for genders and picking two crew members. With the idea being based around a team of archeologists trying to find artifacts of a dead civilisation when a rival team appears and they fight over them.
But due to the amount of work my new idea revolves around the protagonist a female archaeologist getting a ship to a planet with the dead civilisation but no one has been able to study due to a still active defense system in the ruins. The MC has to navigate the defense system and the ruins trying to find a worthwhile artifact.
