Autumn Winds - A Pride and Prejudice adaptation (35K Words)

The Red Dragon background is a perfect fit for the Sixth Coalition War for other work, where the Mc can take part in the Battle of the Nations to avenge his father and restore the Dragon’s name on the continent. Can’t really let Wellington have all the spotlight on Britain’s side, after all.

Also, assuming the father died during the Fourth or Fifth Coalition, if so the Mc could potentially inherit his position at a relatively young age.

That idea doesn’t sound so bad, but I’d like a job like that to be outside of Austen’s world. Besides the mc is already marquess, though… You could say his mother pulls the strings a bit.

Will be their other activities that we can partake in like hunting or whatever Regency gentleman and Nobles do in that era and also how old was The MC when he met Darcy

Including Cromwell?

I mean yea we are consistently powerful ever since our ancestor first created in 411AD and altho we become a vassal we still has a huge autonomy and in the regency era we are still quite powerful with a lot of autonomy

The Marques’ younger sister is 13 years old, his brother is 8, I am still thinking and varying the age of the older sister because if the mc is 29 or 30 this could generate an inconsistency.

Yes, at first I thought I would just add quick mentions for example, in the first conversation with Bingley on the gentry route the group recalls old friends from Lancashire, this in turn taking the train of thought to the continent and the fighting on the Iberian peninsula. Also in Elizabeth’s pov if I am not mistaken she hears conversations of the war among others of the harvest and her new neighbor. I plan to add more situations of this type, but the truth is I am still planning some situations that will involve the mc.

5 years prior to the game events, this applies to all ages of the mc. Yes, there will be activities related to the English countryside in chapter 2.

Make her close to the MC age but 5 or 4 or 3 years older so it will be consistent with The pianist MC bugging his teenage sister aka the MC is 10 and she is 15 or 14 or or 13 teach him how to play the piano putting an age Gap between the MC and the sister while also not making her very old but I have to ask how old is Darcy in this wip was he 7 years old when he met the Marquess Mc

Considering that Darcy is 28, and he met the mc 5 years ago, he would have been 23 when they met.

I thought they met when they were children but now because this information make 21 or 23 or 24 MC the MC would have been a teenager when they met Darcy we have another age in inconsistency here

Actually no, the ages work well in my opinion regarding meeting Darcy, I don’t see the inconsistency you mention. Would you like to explain it?

I did the numbers I concluded I am stupid because The mcs who are 22 and 23 would have been 17 and 18 when they met Darcy 5 years ago but the 21 MC would have been 16 when they met Darcy I remembered these days were different times and the 16 year old MC would have interacted with Darcy out of politeness and also I was thinking why will a teenager be friends with 23 years old that they meet for the first time and and after that I remember these times books and sports and music and theater and art and socializing with people etc etc are the only forms of entertainment in those days so the 16-year-old MC is doomed to acquainted himself with those who invited his family out of politeness and decorum

Yes, I thought you were referring to a young mc as inconsistency, but you asked how they met not the whole process of the friendship they have carried over the years, also although Austen doesn’t specify it seems to me that the friendship process between Bingley and Darcy is similar because of the age difference, or the same can be said of Charlotte and Elizabeth as they are 7 years apart. So yes indeed it seems to be a normal theme in Pride and Prejudice.

Or hear me out people used to be extremely social before phones were invented

:grinning_face_with_smiling_eyes: That may have been the case, with entertainment so scarce, there was nothing left to do but walk around your property, read books and talk to your friends and family.

Which explain why rich people back in these days do a lot of weird shit like eating mommy’s because they have money and a lot of free time and they needed an excuse to get together and have fun
