May I ask what’s the difference between handsome and immaculate?
I think the same thing, the wealthy merchant background suits it better.
Because a duke would never marry the ROs - in fact, it’s already stretching it too far to say that a marquess would marry them, but I wanted to add a Marquess background.
Handsome is a more common type of beauty - it’s being good-looking, but there are quite a few people like that. Every county has its own handsome guy. Immaculate is an ethereal beauty taken from an Italian painting that moves or mesmerizes you, or a Greco-Roman statue of a forgotten god, like a person you see once on a trip, on public transport, or in a restaurant, and they’re so beautiful that you simply feel attracted, you keep looking but don’t say anything - well, that’s immaculate.
Will we have a scene in a house of lords or something like that? And also how powerful is our family especially in dragon route when we know that they are probably the oldest house in europe to survive, so in term of power, influence and wealth…how powerful are we? (Sorry to ask since i am a bit curious)
There will be political scenes, but these will be somewhat secondary for the player. How powerful are they? Quite powerful; The MC’s dynasty in that route is ancient, accumulating a large amount of money over the years, as well as influence. After William the Conqueror’s conquest, the MC’s dynasty has integrated as an economic force throughout central England, and their ports are the best for going east. They still maintain freedoms, autonomy, and control of their lands. Now that I think about it, they sound like an autonomous community in Spain or a federation. The previous dynasties that have held the crown have tried to limit this influence, freedom, and autonomy but have failed, and it doesn’t seem like that’s going to change considering that the last thing the prince regent wants is a civil war in the middle of his war against Napoleon.
I am glad this game exist because there are not enough regency/jane auten like games being made.
So far, I really like your writing and story. The characters feel alive to me, and there seems to be some glitches when I want to see a character’s stat or something. Anyway, I’m really looking forward to new updates!
So even though mc isn’t a duke he’s still like one in terms of power?
I feel like hes probably even more powerful than some Duke, since u know his fiefdom got a massive autonomy within England.
Actually thinking about it he’s probably the most powerul nobility in England so much so that every dynasty that once rule England try to limit his family power but all fail.
Aw, no. I like the griffin, but that’s delicious so I may need to switch.
Thank you, writing characters that feel alive has been quite difficult for me. Yes, those mechanics on the stats page haven’t been introduced in the demo yet, that’s why the glitch.
Yes, in the dragon route Easter egg, he is like a duke or archduke, basically from one of the oldest families in the world, almost like the Japanese imperial family.
Very well, I think I have satisfactorily concluded the requests to improve the stats customizer at the beginning of chapter 1… In case of error or improvements please write feedback, or in case you liked it also write to show it please. My next move is to replace the lord $!{playerlastname} with Lord Leicestershire or Leicester, I’m still looking at the correct form depending on the context of the conversation. Thank you all for the nice comments.
Playing in the dragon route in with max stats legit make me feel like some kind of demi-god lol, this is the first WIP since Aura clash that make me invested in the story
I’m glad you like the story within the demo. Plus Aura Clash is a pretty good WIP, I like playing the jade dragon cheat route.
I see, thanks. When I looked up ‘immaculate,’ the definition Google gave me was of a nice and neat person.
I see, the definition of immaculate that I use is perfect, without imperfections or damage.
I found a bug - discreetly dressed marquess who’s humble doesn’t set Elizabet’s first impression variable, nor change the relationship value, unlike all of the other humble ones. Also the discreetly dressed landowner changes Meryton approval values, but none others do, and that looks a bit strange.
