Autumn Winds - A Pride and Prejudice adaptation (35K Words)

I haven’t made the estimates yet since the Chatsworth House property on which Pemberley is based has about 35,000 acres, which would be normal for someone as wealthy as Darcy. The problem comes more from the fact that I located the MC’s seat at Bradgate Park which only has a measly 840 acres - basically an MC like the marquess would have either the same as Darcy or more in acres. I’m planning to rewrite and correct this information.

Most likely I’ll end up expanding the MC’s territory to the north-west of Leicester by eliminating towns and cities, or I’ll change the location of the house to Belvoir Castle.

I feel that the problem with why so many people ask those types of questions is because I answer them. In part I like to respond since I like the enthusiasm for the demo, but I’m not going to deny that some questions have been quite inconvenient or peculiar.

As I told a previous comment, I still haven’t planned or written the family’s reactions, so giving a comment would only be conjecture on my part, which would very likely change when it comes time to write the scene.

Wow

I have one final question, as u know in the dragon Marquis route the maximum money our marquis can get as an income is 67,362 pounds and the maximum money we can have is 5,011,970 pounds. If we were to convert it to our today’s money, how much is it?

That’s probably 100 times more in modern pounds, probably around 500M to a Billion pounds.

Using the Bank of England’s inflation calculator and a rough date of 1800, £70,000 back then would be around £5,000,000 (~$7,000,000 USD) today, and £5,000,000 back then would be around £363,000,000 (~$500,000,000 USD) today.

Is there an age limit? Or can I say my young MC is 1000 years old?

The limit is 30, trying to put more than that would be invalidated by the ChoiceScript system.

You should put an option to make all skills on 3, like the grandmother’s tonic put everything at 6. When I don’t care about skills and just want see some paths I just pick the tunic to go faster, since I don’t want everything at 1 point.

An average joe tonic or something similar could work.

You could name it “I’m just some average joe” too

something I notice in the code, if the player is a landowner AND 25 years old, he is neither childhood friend nor mentor to bingley and the char crush flag don’t go true.

I forgot to put an = there.

Will we be able to call out Wickham when he try to manipulate Lizzy and Georgiana? Idk i really hate him

Better than that can tell Darcy his first proposal sounds like a an insult then a fucking proposal and if bad proposals punishable by law his head will be on the guillotine to the point the prideful snobbish MC say even I know this not how you talk to somebody you want to fucking propose to

Yea i would love for our MC to be able to express his opinion or outright scold our dear friends

Heh, the thing with Georgiana happened before the events of the game, so no. As for Elizabeth, I was planning some things since Wickham was deployed in Leicestershire before Hertfordshire, so the marquess could have known about some of his misdeeds.
