Assassins Legacy although having its setbacks over the course of its remake, is going smoothly.
Some explaining that should go into things. And answers to questions brought up over the course of the past few months⦠First, instead of completely deleting this game, I will eventually see about running through it with a spell check to clean up much of its spelling and correcting the bugs where they can be found Eventually.
This version of assassins legacy is set in Imortallia. The same setting as The Royal Legacy. However this game takes place in its past. To fully understand things, I fear you will either have to wait for the scenes in the remake when it is released, (it will be on a separate thread) or when I get back to developing this version. Furthermore the world that the remake takes place in is called Elementia. It has a few modern affects mixed into things, not to be compared with our world of course 
Next up is the main character. (MC). The MCās in this version and the remake can be the same people. And they can also be separate. There is nothing said in the game that will contradict this. The way the games are connected, The Nexus helps to solve that issue. Of course as stated earlier, we can leave that detail for later.
Umbra and Divine assassins. To ensure the least bit of confusion in the game only slight adjustments will be done in this version for divine assassins. Divine assassins will be considered assassins that work for the church, which in this game is called The Divine Order. In the other legacies, references are given to the divine assassins, but they go by different names.
Next up spells and the assassin armory.
- The spellbook has been remastered. The spells that everyone helped to create will be in the new version although some may not be available in the game due to complications. Although Iām very much welcoming new spell creations to be done by NPCās and otherwise.
- The assassins armory. After much thought that has gone into itā¦the MC will be limited to only a few weaponry. Although you can later replace it with higher grade material or place a rune inside. The main things to point out here are these things.
- There might be a smithing section added. Where the MC can gather materials and smith their own gear, materials, repairs and the likes. This connects with alchemy.
- In combat as the MC ālevels upā they can learn moreā¦techniques to fit their fighting styles. Same goes for using magic. Just becuase you throw a fireball at someone doesnāt mean its gonna be oh so powerful and instakill them. Especially duringā¦āboss fightsā where things are more in depth.
Next up in the clarification process. The game is planned to be veryā¦very⦠in depth. Things will work in arcs. So not to become so overwhelming. There is planned to be Five Arcs or books in the assassins legacy series. So this will be a very long process.
- Something to note here. Updates will come by weekly. (New chapter/scenes) that is. I will always be at least 1 or 2 chapters ahead of whatever is released. (partly why the game is taking quite a bit to be revealed)
Nearly done hereā¦there is the matter of crossovers in the game. In the shadows of the forums much discussion has gone on to prepare for crossovers. As the game progresses youāll be met with offers to travel through The Nexus. This will take you to different cog games which have been pre-prepared and arranged. You will assassinate a target in the game and hopefully not get stuck there, by choice or otherwise. This assassination will be noted in both games. Look forward to it.
Also instead of starting out at a high rank, Master Veteran Assassin, you will be starting from the very bottom, with barely the clothes on your back. Time to make a name for yourself.
And finally. (for now) Some things in bound. The familiar is planned to be changed. And something to note, if the MC dies the familiar dies as well, the two of you are bound. Other than that your familiar can not die. Iām not that heartless
, so no worries there will always be a little bit of loyal light in your world. Iām still locking on as to what creature should be the new familiar, feel free to offer some suggestions. Speaking of Death I hope to make some good Epilogues for when the MC dies in different ways.
I am also planning to have the MC have their own sanctuary. This is still in consideration mind you. But if it is implemented. What choices would you like to have when you have your own sanctuary? What kind of things do you want to do here? Who do you want to have be here with you? Do you want the choice of whether to have it above ground or underground?
