I’d really love to be able to code on my android tablet. Does anyone know if there is a way of doing that? VS Code for Android is apparently very buggy and doesn’t work well with plugins. Code Studio looks great but doesn’t list ChoiceScript as one of its languages and I can’t see a way to add it in.
Yes, use the Editor Spck, is the better I found
Thanks! It looks great, but it doesn’t know ChoiceScript, that I can see?
you just need to download the choicescript zip file, go to the projects in the spck editor, select zip file, and select the choicescript zip file, and that’s it, you can start now.
Someone created an editor app for choicescript: https://forum.choiceofgames.com/t/a-choicescript-android-editor-app-write-code-run-and-compile-all-within-one-app-released/174423
I haven’t tried it myself yet but it seems quite complete!
Yep, development is pretty much finished on the app, currently working on the error checker.
After coding, you can run the game from within the app and when its ready to upload to COG Demos, you can also compile it to html from within the app too.
Oh my god I can’t wait to try it! I just got an E-ink tablet, and I can’t wait to use it for restful coding!!
