That sounds really good. Will there be like preexisting racial relationships, like one race having a feud or feeling superior to another or races having an alliances or friendships? Will these affect gameplay based on the MC’s chosen race?

Info: A female Goolatin from the swamp planet of Galene. Despite being a swamp Galene is actually a very peaceful place with swamps that smell like bubblegum and air that smell like cotton candy. Goolatins are a slime race able to put themselves back together which comes in handy when they shoot body parts at enemies. They can also change their body’s mass from goo, to rubber like, to hard as rocks. Jelly loved her home world but wanted to help in the war as a nurse… but kept getting fired by Silvabor medics… as a Goolatin she is unable to feel pain… so she forgets that other species can feel it, so patients would have to remind her to give them pain killers… which is hard when most patients that she tends are knocked out. She almost gave up on her dreams of being a medic until a mercenary captain unable to find a Silvabor healer to join his crew recruited her as a last resort. Now she is the ships head and only medic which brings her joy everyday, she still has trouble remembering to give pain killers during emergency surgeries, and tends to listen to music during times of crisis, but the team likes her all the same.

Yes lol but your the first and only child born from two different species. And yes some planets have alliances before the war and rivalry’s. And yes ROs will treat you differently depending on your alien race.

This sounds very promising, and I think this has the potential to be a great story.
I have a few issues with the story, though. Nothing too important. Some or them are issues that most Sci-fi don’t tacke anyways, while the others are just me being nitpicky and a science nerd. Feel free to ignore them if you wish, but I’d like to point them out anyway:

You said that humans had already colonized every planet in the solar system and now are looking to colonize other planets with life, implying that humans have traveled to other stars. Now, Alpha Centaury, the closest star to the Sun is still 4,367 light years away from Earth. And, according to Einstein, nothing can travel faster than the speed of light. So, a spaceship would at least take 4,367 years to reach another star. There is some fancy time dilatatiofor objects moving close to the speed of light that would make the people in the spaceship feel like only a few years, or a few days, or a few hours have happened, but for everyone else, those 4,000 still happened. So, either mankind found a way to travel faster than the speed of light or your story is gona take some millennia.

Andomeda is the name of the closest galaxy to the milky way. It’s often used to name other unrelated things in sci-fi because it sounds space-ish and cool, but I have trouble imagining the scientist in an interstellar civilization naming a human-alien hybrid like the neighbour galaxy. Is there some meaning to the name?

Similarly to the last point, Ceres is the name of an asteroid/dwarf planet in the asteroid belt between Mars and Jupiter, believed to be an actual planet for some time during the 1800’s. Is there some meaning to the name?

Can you think of a way for the humans and aliens to be able to survive in a foregin atmosphere and planet pressure? Are they going to have to use suits to go to other planets? Or is there going to be some technology, like DNA modification or robotic implants, or another thing, to allow them to survive there. Maybe thats the reason why humans have to colonize the planet and cannot share the planet peacefully with the aliens: in order to actually live there, they’d have to terraform it.
But the most important thing is that I loved the idea, and I want you to keep writting it. If you don’t find easy solutions for these problems, don’t let them slow you down. I’m looking forward to this.
Also, just a question: How does “darkness manipulation” work?

Lol there is. Your code name is based on the Greek myth of Andromeda. Her mother said she was more beautiful than the sea nymphs so Poseidon sent a monster to destroy their kingdom. So to apologize to the Gods Andromedas father chained her to the rocks to sacrifice her in order to save his kingdom. But was saved and the monster killed.
So the myth symbolizes your MC. You are Andromeda, the earth is the kingdom, and your fathers race is the monster. You are the only thing keeping them from going against earth. Until your rescue.
Some races might have a little trouble but ultimately all the planets with life can be walked on without trouble mostly but some planets might need suits for safety.
Lol just following Mars and Jupiter’s example and naming planets on Greek and Roman gods. Ceres is the goddess of plants so seemed perfect for a planet with plant people.

I don’t think I’ve heard of it… the only game I’ve heard of that’s based off of any mythology (Greek) is God of War… personally I don’t tolerate it
