I have an e-mail adress just for the playstore so it is easy for me
You can always filter emails with the words “Choice of Games” and it should cut down what you need to find considerably.
But as @abbytrevor said, screenshotting your appstore’s purchase history is easier by far because you know that they have kept track.
And besides, it’s only a chore right now at the inception of this app, but once you have everything in, I’m sure you’ll vastly prefer the omnibus and how everything is so centralized. No need to scour the appstores, everything is right here in one convenient location!
I mean, when you’re in the search tab, select ‘Order by Rating’ (or any order, really) then click on any title, and then back out (which can be done by hitting your device’s back button or by hitting the back arrow.) This changes the order back to ‘Best selling’ every time rather than keep you in the order sort-type that you were in. It’s actually really annoying, and I’d be astounded if it wasn’t a bug. If I want to look at more than one game while ordered by rating, I need to select ‘sort by rating’ again and again every time I look at a game.
I’m also pretty sure that the iOS omnibus doesn’t have this bug last I checked.
This happens in the HG omnibus too so it looks like an android program thing.
I just downloaded it and I’m excited to try new things.
Edit: I see you’re enjoying the “Nebula-Finalist” tag.
Can I ask, are the star ratings being pooled from somewhere? (Not just people who have downloaded the game in the app?)
Beside making it not jump back to the best seller category ragerdless of which category we are viewing I wonder if it’s possible to make it jump to the game we opened once we hit the back button instead of making as go through the whole list again?
So much this!
Pretty sure they’re taken from the iOS version and all mashed together now.
I downloaded it and is really not my cul of tea at all. And no way in seven hells i will go one by one registered my games (i got almost all) in the choice of games account when I got them in google play that recognizes my account in ll my dispositives. I just don’t understand what is the utility of a clunky app that is not intuitive.
Edit This could be useful if include trailers of games and the interviews of authors and news o future games etc extra features and all that could attract people.
The last game you opened should be at the top of your Library.
Would it be possible to add an option to sort the purchased library and add a black background to the omnibus?
Another thing, the omnibus is not showing all the images and the ones it shows are misaligned.
I’m not sure if anyone had said this before but it seems as Choice of Kung Fu is only paid to unlock the full game when I got to the end of Chapter 3 rather than paying 3.99 to unlock the ads-free as it was said on their page.
Hey guys i have i question
Will you still release some games;i mean the solos app
Im one of the players who is comfortable in the solos i love downloading them one by one😅
Sorry…
Yes. They will still release separate apps. You could see the FAQ up in the first post.
Eeyy thank you mate
For the suggestion box:
Would it be possible for the Omnibus to recognize that you’ve purchased a game and stop sending you the ads in the notice bar? The ads aren’t obnoxious, but I keep getting falsely excited only to realize it’s for a game I already own!
That would be a level of complexity that I don’t think we’re (or the app) is capable of right now. The main issue is, as with most of our customer service issues, is that we don’t “know” who are customers are. Because you’re not our customers–unless you’re buying on our website, you’re a customer of Google Play or Apple. We don’t have access to your purchase history.
Should be pretty easy if the game in question is registered in the omnibus. Unless I’m missing something. Just have it check if the game is registered and playable in the omnibus already, even if it’s just for the local device (that way you have no need to know who the customer is.) Honestly, this should probably be done for the entire store, since most long-time fans will have to scroll through a dozen-plus games they already own to find new stuff.
None of that’s entirely necessary, but they’d be nice QoL touches. I’m more interested in getting the sorting bug I pointed out above fixed, along with a way to organize the library.
I downloaded the app when I got the notification and already purchased games for it. I LOVE it. It’s such a great way to organize your library and mark favorites.
Quoting myself since my original post got moved to an other thread:
