I get a 404 error this time
Dropbox hates me, but I’ll keep trying though.
@CJW please help outcast
Thank you @anon48296871 but I have come to realize I can’t use dropbox to post my game. I have been reading around the forums and found out that new dropbox accounts cant use public folders. I just barley made my dropbox account so I can not use dropbox.
Does any one know another way to post a game?
I just have that problem while ago.
There are people suggesting me this post.
CJW:
First download this version of compile.html: Dropbox - compile.html - Simplify your life
Look in your game’s top directory where the test files and the like are:
Replace the current compile.html with the one you just downloaded (very important!).
Open your new compile.html in Firefox, after a variable amount of time (not too long though) you should see something similar to the following:As instructed, download the file. That file should be a .html file and it should be a working copy of your game.Upload this new mygame.html file to dropbox (doesn’t matter where).Once it’s uploaded you need to obtain the sharing link, the method for which varies slightly depending on whether you do it through dropbox.com or the dropbox application. Once you have the link (it should look something a little like the one below)Dropbox - mygame_complete.html - Simplify your life
Replace “www” with “dl” and “dropbox” with “dropboxusercontent”, like this:
–
There you have, did that make sense?I’m sorry it’s not a bit easier, but it’s the best I can do right now.I did try and make some changes to the compile file that would allow it to be uploaded to Dropbox and give you the link automatically, but the API doesn’t want to work locally
ok here it is, I hope I did it right

It works thank you @Cooncat54321
Apostrophes are replaced by rhombuses with question marks in them.
Which suggests this was coded in a word processor like MS Word rather than Notepad or Notepad++ (a free to download code editor). We’d recommend the latter. It doesn’t use auto-format options that mess up the way your game displays (like curly rather than straight apostrophes and quotes).
Well actually I have been writing this in Micosoft word then copy and pasting it on to the notpad, and now I know not to use Microsoft word for this. thank you for informing me I will fix the problems as soon as possible.
Common mistake, lots of people make it. It takes some getting used to writing in Notepad++ (which is the best coding thing you could get) but you get used to it.
Ya thank you @FoxalypticWorld
Ok here is the updated game with the bugs fixed

Nice post-apocalyptic games are the best
Looking forward to chapter 1
Same here. This looks very promising
