lol veils can be a every day use my friend wears them instead of hats to block the sun. I just want the White Covens dress to be… poofy lol or something lol.
Current favorite dress designs for the White Coven they all will have veils added to the design. If your planning on being in the White Coven and have a better dress idea speak now or forever hold your piece lol.
I love white lace but in Gothic-elegant style… I’d pull a few examples but I spam this thread so much I feel like a Paris fashionista or Italian designer as it is…
This is nice, shows a little too much skin in the front but the style and cut is perfectly cute and stylish enough to attract me
I like this example a lot… and that is a good example of a proper “witch hat” if I had to wear one of those too, I think this is my favorite of the examples I pulled fast.
Here is a more formal version …not bad but it pushes into the wedding look.
I’m 100% with @Eiwynn. The White Coven dresses are super here comes the bride and I’m not sure why you’re holding your friend up as the standard for women’s fashion. He’s not. I was a bit relieved when I saw the new, veil-less dress. If someone tried to put me in a veiled, white dress for some strange ceremony, I’d be like naw, it’s not happening. Not about to let someone sell my MC into marriage. The White Coven should have a runaway bride option lol.
Having said that, I’m not sure why we’re putting so much time into talking about clothes. Like, not that that you shouldn’t, but I’m wondering what you plan to do with them? Is this time spent worth it? I don’t know how you write, but do visual references matter that much? If you only want one black dress and you describe it as " elegant and dark" or something, people would feel pretty free to imagine it how they like. Are you planning to go into a lot of detail on the appearance? I think you’ve mentioned ROs a couple times will certain ROs be more likely to approach MCs based on what they’re wearing? If my MC wears the Marilyn dress (which, yeah she would; for the first playthrough at least) would someone comment on the sparkle in the full skirt? If there’s a dance (because prom, right?) or just because, would they put their hands on her bare shoulders? Would that Nate(?) guy be a total creep? If not for that dress, then for one that shows some leg or something. Will people actually mistake @idonotlikeusernames’s MC for a waiter if you give him what he wants? If the MC’s male and wears a dress, or female and wears a suit, would people be conservatively disapproving? Or is Witch society chill and progressive? Would there be a lot of other people wearing clothes outside of Western, human conventions?
Basically, I wrote that fat, rambling paragraph to ask if clothing choices matter. For the formal event, and then the five casual choices later.
I’m trying to go for mystical and angelic for the White Coven outfit. I think veils are cool lol that’s why for the White Coven outfits both the male and female MCs formal wear will include it in that outfit.
Yes all the clothes matter and will include different dialogue for certain characters. Like if you choose a new outfit say Victory Girl Nate will be like “Aw I was hoping you would choose something that shows off that rocking body.” and it will boost certain characters affection for your character. The formal wear is basically another boost for the characters of the Coven you want to impress. Wearing the Night Coven formal wear will make the Night Coven RO go “WOW” while the White Coven will be like “Its ok.” So yes I have plans for the outfits lol it would be dumb to put up this much effort on the MC clothes options if I didn’t have a plan
