Eventually, but at this point in time, you’re still of a level with Aki, give or take.

Chapter 7 is going to show you the level of difficulty that Aki can give Forlorn, one of its big events will be a spar between them.

So…I understand for the sake of a story some elements of disbelief have to be kept. Maybe people of their level only happens once every couple hundred years or some other sort. But over the vast history of humanity wouldn’t there have been people who were as equally strong as even the weakest of the strong? Why weren’t more empires/civilizations created around people like this? Furthermore why hasn’t there been the establishment of a power supremacy society? Ideologies that fall into this line of thinking are inherently flawed because they have no factual standing as people born and raised within the same conditions could lead vastly different lives with different measures of success. However when you have people that could wipe out a continent just for the fun of it…wouldn’t such ideologies be given a basis and be more prevalent in a society as they hold an actual foundation to stand on?

So, to be clear, just because there aren’t any powered states currently in existence doesn’t mean there haven’t been states in the past.

Something I have mentioned before is that several important figures of our own history (Qin Shi Huang, Boudica, Queen Nefertiti, other North African figures) which… poofed right out of existence. Just straight up disappeared, and no one knows what happened to them.

You will learn the truth soon.

As for an ideology, there has been shifts. Nazism and the far-right in general have grasped onto the idea of a ‘super powered race’ pretty hard- Hitler consistently argued that Aryans were the most predisposed to powered abilities, and Unit 731 of Imperial Japan definitely did a lot of experiments to prove the ‘filthy Gaijins’ were less capable of manifesting truly great abilities. There’s definitely smaller tribes (not associated with the far-right of course) with succession being based on powers.

And, of course, Main Trio tier people aren’t really common. You have maybe one of them per century, and a lot of the time they never reach this level since they don’t focus on this.

For the Broken King/Blitz Queen tier, there’s only been three people in the last ten thousand years.

…Well.

Four.

There’s a League Member prodigious enough to reach their level.

Why do I get the feeling that it is not gonna be MC.

The MC isn’t going to reach Broken King or Blitz Queen tier, but he is gonna end up as far more important than them.

After all, the Cretan Kingdom had a population of about 200,000 people.

Your realm might end up in the tens of million.

And it’s not Seeker or Victoria, either. I know where they peak.

Reread what I said, y’all.

A prodigious member of the team. A prodigy.

alright… its Aki/Lat

Ah I see, the hidden twist we never saw coming. Someone who was always overlooked, Dark star.

Edit: In all seriousness the people I could think would fit a description like this would be Aki or Nova. While Lat could be an option…I’m unsure if she could really be called a prodigy. If the key term of “Prodigy” Is more based around the age factor I would argue it most likely is Nova, after all it says he’s “22 (Self Claimed).” So he could actually be the youngest member of the team and gifted with his talent for development and ability to copy and analyze fighting styles means he naturally is able to excel.

It probably is I’m sorry i just cant believe that the mc making it up the ladder with just potential bro would have to put in rock lee level of training for that to happen

in short terms we as a mc (even worse if you are a Ignismancer) is ahem cooked

I think the story is more of a book than “choice your story type”. The title of the book says it do not focus on the mc but the whole hero tale. Sadly, the mc will probably not be the highlight of the story but the whole hero organization. Strength wise, the mc won’t be especial cause the other heroes are already strong.

Nova is the true prodigy…true genius knows no bounds. It may be Deus ex Machina but it is the Deus part that matters.

Okay that scares me, honestly. With that maybe the alien possessed mc truly is the vanguard of an alien invasion and if that is the case while the mc or Lat may not be individually as strong it possibly implies the full alien invasion can at the very least contain the blitz forces of nature, or worse. Like I said scary stuff. :space_invader:

I just don’t understand the point of the MC their not a bad MC i just don’t get them their not the glue that holds the Team the together they aren’t some Shonen Mc that carries the team on their back they from what i see aren’t a leader either at least not yet and they don’t have much of a attachment to any of the team from at this point of the story they are (and i mean this with no disrespect) a great second option.

and despite what i say i oddly find that cool i mean bro isn’t the greatest or coolest don’t get me wrong but i think that is what makes them oddly cool they aren’t some over powered Mc that can just squad wipe they can lose their girlfriend pretty easily (and if you ask me pretty quickly) they are a rookie with barely any experience and that’s what’s cool about them they don’t just win off the jump they aren’t the smartest or the strongest we got potential with a high ceiling but we get to watch the Mc work all the way up to that ceiling that’s what’s cool

Sure Lat has picked up their game quite a bit but personally I think it’s either Nova or Aki.

Oh, I missed this earlier!

A self-insert is a character based upon or directly inspired by the author, essentially “inserting yourself” into the narrative.

It’s… well, I would earnestly hope it’s a joke, but it originated from Ignis being a doomed romance, and thus an assumption that “I want her for myself”- which, I suppose, is a little better than the argument that I’m some lonely 20 something wattpad-addicted girl who got rejected irl and came up with a narrative where the strong and tall man actually chose me.

In case I need to clarify, though, no, Seeker is not a self-insert. The only thing he and I have in common is skin color.

lol.

Ah! Good to know. And there is no wrong if you want ignis ‘for yourself’. we ignis-romancers certainly do

We all know your self-insert is the 'Wing anyway.

So BK, BQ, and a prodigious League Member (my money’s on Aki, the real self-insert).

Whose the fourth? If you don’t mind my asking.
