Life happened 
from the last time till now I’ve had some heavy plot lines in real life 
Like my grandfather dying
Relationship ended
University came calling
Full time job
Being lazy and demotivated
At some point I just lost the plot of what I was writing and ignored it

This sounds intriguing. I wanted something like this for a long time.
I also noticed village strength in settings and us being from a small Sun village is great, since my pet peeve with Naruto was always that Konoha was the highest authority. All bloodlines, geniuses, villains are from there and it is first and largest village and Ember is expy of it with the highest strength while Sun has the lowest. I wish we could either start a war or influece that in another way to lower it’s and other villages power and make Sun village the strongest.
Will be monitoring this project with interest.

Hey guys, just an update to let you know how it’s going. Finally making progress on the story again, planning my trip to my home country for the burial and what not. Since Akuma is the uchiha clan, will we get any of their powers if we choose their clan?
Yes actually, I plan to have multiple villains leading up to a final climax if you will.
Since I haven’t updated the game I’ll give a little teaser of what you expect, so spoilers?
For chapter 1,
the main antagonist serves as an introduction to Jaraya of the legendary sun 3. You are faced with certain choices which will determine how your conclusion with the antagonist plays out
For chapter 2
(planned but not yet implemented) you are introduced to a member of the main antagonist organisation; “Aogiri”, a shady millitant mercenary group.
Chapter 3 goes off on a tangent similar to a filler chapter.

The akuma are not uchiha so I don’t know what you’re talking about, the uchiha don’t have anything on the Akuma. Lol
Joke aside, yes your clan changes what special jutsu can be made available to you during the game, I also plan to punish players who mismatch ability with clans, so if you’re going for an intelligence build it’s highly unlikely you will get jutsu that requires strength
