It is said they were just coworkers but A had a crush on MC but never acted on it thinking MC wasn’t interested. So this probably was a chance to confirm if MC could be interested or not without bff around, and I guess since MC didn’t reject/did enjoy the dinner A may as well see if they wanted to spend further time together = clubbing.
I’m curious, did A ever try to invite MC to hang out before? Did bff prevent that from happening? Or just never worked the courage before now? Did A know MC preferred to stay home/not do much outside work?
You can find out that your bff talked your coworker out of pursuing you. For me, the stated reason was that your coworker initially thought you weren’t interested in the opposite sex, but that doesn’t explain why they ultimately came on to you.
It’s my own deduction and piecing together story implications, but I think your coworker eventually figured out that your bff’s intervention was yet another manipulation on their part, and the only way they’d ever get through to you was if the bff wasn’t around to run interference.

Also I’ve kind of gotten stuck in a loop of Check Rebbit/Chriping/Camgram because I missed the fourth option when it appeared and accidentally pressed on one of the other three. Now I’m just kind of stuck lol
This was nice. It gave me a lot to think about honestly, especially when I first played the game and picked the choices I would in real life and didn’t end up happy with what happened. I do wonder if it’s possible to even get the good ending? After replaying the game multiple times and getting the Another Day/No Change ending, I even tried code diving to make sure I picked the correct options and I still couldn’t get the Therapy ending. I might be confused or missing something, though.
Also, I don’t think there’s any trigger for the achievements? As I said, I played the game multiple times but never got an achievement.
You’re right, there’s no trigger in the demo. They’ll trigger at the end of the game.
@Krroma, @Jender —the email was to enroll in the beta testing thread. We concluded the beta last month, and the game has been submitted to Hosted Games. Hopefully, you’ll be able to play it fully and without bugs sooner than later
Seems like a unique game.
The only thing that bothers me really is that A is a co-worker and probably one in a more senior position at that, which is a big risk for somebody as vulnerable as the mc.
But that is just my opinion but you really need to be careful with workplace relationships, cause if it ends badly it may very well be that one or both would need to seek a new job and the mc doesn’t really seem in the right frame of mind to go job-hunting.
While I myself haven’t gone through any rough patches in life, I really appreciate this piece of writing that helps me understand how some people feel when they are going through hard times. Good one.
