Zombie Exodus: Safe Haven -- set for release 10/28/16

I’d love to be involved with the beta test.

I should have said I’ll stat the beta in September and ask for volunteers then.

You are going toa have a long queue of will fod-ehm beta testers XD, and once the cat is out of the bag, the ball of yarn goes missing XD.

I’m gonna play spoiler and suggest that you not take requests for people who want to beta but instead only ask people who have given you meaningful comments before you took the demo down.

If they didn’t then, you don’t have any reason to think they would in the future. That’s probably a little harsh, but considering the number of people on this thread that have been helpful you should at least consider giving them priorty/special consideration.

@JimD: Going to agree with @Shockbolt here - you’re more likely to get better quality feedback as opposed to the lemming train looking for a sneak peek that way.

I agree. I do have a few testers working with me now but want to offer spots to people who may be interested in focused testing. Some people don’t like to participate in long open betas but may want to volunteer for this phase.

Although you’ve closed the beta on here, are you still going to post polls and question on facebook or are you going to keep it within the private beta?

Yes, I will post polls and questions to the public.

So, I might’ve asked a friend of mine to draw Tommy and my teenage!MC not too long ago, and she finally got back to me. I owe her lotsa hugs, but I’m here to share the art! If you just want to see the fluff, don’t mind the following versions. It’s… a sequence, I suppose. I’m a bit of a masochist.

Version 2 (Warning: Blood)

Version 3

I like Version 1 best… (And your friend is a great artist.)

I prefer the “senpai noticed me, what do i do” version.

Wow these are great. I am actually going to announce a contest soon that these may be perfect to enter in.

That’s beautiful, all three. Man your MC will have a hard time dealing with the grief if Jamie perishes

Now to find somebody to draw Mallory and Julieanne…

I don’t know how @Lithophene feels on the matter, but I felt far more connection with Tommy (in a single, short scene) than I ever did with Jaime, whose relationship with the MC always felt somewhat tenuous (due, I’m sure, to the difficulty finding a single character that can relate to all backgrounds). That said, if there was anyone who would be killed off for plot purposes, Jaime seems the ideal candidate.

I have exactly the contrary reaction. I only fwlt connection with Jaime and my depending children. Tommy and others origin npc are too much of trying to get too much feelings too soon. Or are directly sugary. However, they are all well crafted . I just hate Woody I hope I could kill him soon.

He’ll bathe if you tell him to… also he’ll wash his clothes too, I promise.

I imagine that part of this is the background; it just felt a little artificial for my teen to have really been as good friends with Jaime as the story seems to imply. (Tommy, on the other hand, was both a neighbour and my MC’s crush, and it wasn’t entirely unrequited, which gave him a far more memorable connection to my MC in only a few lines. Okay, I’ll stop talking about Tommy now…) Likely Jaime’s relationships with older characters will feel more natural.

My primary MC is a Soldier, and nope, Jaime’s friendship doesn’t feel much more natural.

My only MC is a scientist who smokes and occasionally drinks because he’s feels stressed at trying to find a cure while everyone around him falls into chaos, and his husky is the only thing keeping him from joining the chaos or kill himself.

So for those professions in which Jaime’s relationship feels unnatural, what would make it feel more natural?
