@JimD will it be possible to take a weapon from someone you kill like the bandits at the school. Also is there any way to check how much ammo for a weapon you have as i ran out of bolts at one point.
Now I have a machine gun, ho ho ho!
How did you get one lol???
It is a Die Hard reference.
Oh okay sry I bet your facepalming right now.
Good game! What profession have the most weapons?
The police officer can get a M16A1 and a Semi-auto shotgun though.
Amaing. Cant wait for the final released version
My three favorite backgrounds/professions to play thus far has been:
- Teenager
- Scientist
- Actor
I am really impressed with the level of player customization that is here. Between the backgrounds, professions, challenges, and the ability to craft items replay is a must. I love that the scenes start overlapping a bit as you do play different characters such as the movie star at the theater and my own custom created character and their date at the movies or the bank robber and the cop across the street at the donut shop.
Great game so far!
yeah da popo is good for that add an ar 15 and a katana with skill points and youāre off to a good start. but itās quality not quantity and I prefer soldier and psysopath(my go to custom profession) as skill points are better I think plus you only need an ar 15 and a machete/katana really plus having too many guns will making having enough ammo for each a piss take.
I always have my katana with me. Nothing like a good melee weapon and the skill to use it.
I actually really like the skillset of the Professional Wrestler. It sort of suits the non-lethal style I want to play with. Your acting skills let you trick people into not shooting you, and if push comes to shove you can choke them out instead of stabbing or shooting them or just run away.
Funny, because I donāt really care for Pro Wrestling at all.
Hm⦠yeah I guess so.
I go int and full lethal.
Close combat for the katana skills.
Ranged weapons and survival to get the compound bow.
I disagree, but I donāt think either of us will change the otherās mind.
In terms of preferred combat⦠Why go through combat? Some Stealth and Crafting means I never have to worry about fighting.
I agree with the fact our opinions are different with is cool. And Mara in fighting she is a 2 skill in hand and hand combat because came with the con art play and I think thatās useful she just lure zombies and distracted them using intelligence and people. My problem is what close and hand difference. I know one is no weapons or just the typical boxing stuff and other is bats and shovels but what is what? I use the shovel effectively, so i suppose shovel is hand :?
Because I donāt think I can go through the entire game without having to fight.
Yeah, I try avoiding combat but at least a two or three level in a combat skill is needed in zombie times . A close fight is what i choose because as con art if someone notice my liars or that i probably be near him or her. Charisma works in close proximity so range weapons could be no so great. I need a ranger companion Jamie looks great, I hope soā¦
The legal understanding of mental illness is limited to whether or not it can get someone off the hook for their actions. Itās willfully ignorant, because mental Illness is nothing more than a means to an end as far as lawyers are concerned.
You donāt have to be an overall āgoodā person to have standards and a personal code of conduct. Society pressures people to at least appear to be āGoodā. Thereās also a big difference for most people between taking someoneās belongings, and taking their life.
Cool Im gonna playthrough again using the police officer, psychopath, and criminal.
Probably a good plan, I already had my not investing in social skills idea bite me in the ass by not being able to save a certain someone.
That was one of my gripes with ZE, at some parts of the game you couldnāt really be a pacifist, or at least only kill if you absolutely had to (Those prayer choices in the first three chapters were great), but it kind of faded away.
Though that does bring me to a new question for you guys, how do you feel about the mysticism differences between the original and Safe Haven? I donāt think anyone would deny that there was kind of a mystic-tint to the writing and what the protagonist was going through in the original, while everything in Safe Haven seems much more grounded in ārealityā.
