Is a second-in-command a thing only when you are leader? Don’t recall seeing that when Jaime was leading.
Also how do you clear space in the junkyard?

when telling shirley about silverthorne your character says some of your members got killed even when no one died from your squad
Also had a motorcycle helmet that has been missing since the start of part 3
Edit:so with the river dogs that hunt near junkyard, I sent a group to follow and learn more about them. Jaime insists on going but when they get back and rachel (who i sent) gives the debriefing jaime asks “so they didn’t seem dangerous?” like he wasn’t there.
I see now what you guys are talking about. It seems like taking samples in part two is buggy. For some reason, we are unable to take any samples when scavenging the farm to be specific. Hopefully @Jimd will fix it at some point.
Well imagine my surprise when during the prom section rachel pulls me aside for an impromptu makeout session. Don’t even have her listed as a interest, but by the end I was given an option to switch out and chose to switch out kelly (who honestly doesn’t really do anything as a secondary RO) but when I do that nothing changes, kelly isn’t switched.
Wonder during the hacking route when you will be able to discuss what you learn with the rest of your group. Because you get a lot of information early on that you never share.
To be fair no seems to really care how this happened. This route is only here to find out the origins of the zeta virus. The most we get is them noticing the mc set up a device at the school. But if there is a choice later we should decide how much we tell them
You’d think its worth mentioning though, at the very least to rachel, who might know more than most already.
I think it would still worth mention to your groups about what the MC hacker find, especially with facts like Colorado was hit especially hard or there might be other countries which the infection have not reached yet. Seems like crucial information for the group to determine where they should go or should they keep staying and endure the hardship.
True but I doubt they could keep the dead out for long since even the military bases were easily overwhelmed. Also if word gets out that zombies are real worldwide it was cause riots and mayhem everywhere. It’s probably a bad idea since the government will literally targeting u to hide the truth
Has anyone ever tried unarmed fighting? Which encounters are impossible? Always saw it as useless because the description says won’t help against infected, and most humans you come against have guns.
It does help. It basically comes down to you knocking them to the ground, before stomping their heads.
To be honest it does work against the zombies but it’s not recommended since it’s easy to go get killed. U just need to smart about it especially against people.
Just got to the end of part 3 (I kept restarting). I went to Silverthorne with the intent of killing some people, mostly Keith, (with my good soldier MC) and ended up helping out because she felt bad for the civvies.
I can’t decide what profession I want to use for part 3. Can someone give me their opinion on which MC background is brought up the most in part 3?
Definitely the Pro Wrestler. It is overall the best profession in the game.
Teenager beats everything else
Really? That is surprising actually.
I would say it depends on the reader’s motives. If you’re like me, always in search of godhood or how to get closest to it, I would say the homemaker is the real deal. Otherwise, if you are simply in it for the story, I would say the teenager or doctor has the greatest horror elements for me.
How is the t.v star?
I have been trying to find this issue, but during my replay to test things, I am able to open Finn’s bag. If it’s not too much trouble, can you tell me the choices you made when dealing with Finn at the beginning of chapter 5?
When you say during free time, do you mean the conversations at the end of chapter 11? Kevin shows up in the list.
I found a bug where the junkyards offense and defense scores are not showing. I will fix that in the next update.
After the million or so words I’ve written, I think I have a good framework for how Part 4 will go. I’m envisioning each chapter to have a period of downtime at the junkyard and numerous optional quests/missions away from the junkyard. There will also be variable and mandatory events to help drive the plot. I think this gives the most flexibility while keeping the structure manageable.
I will check on this as I prepare for the next update.
Thank you for pointing out these bugs.
When I am writing a skill check, there are numerous times when I set a high requirement to pass or make a series of outcomes based on different skill checks. For example, if you have a very high Ranged skill, you get outcome X, a medium Ranged gets you outcome Y, and a lower Ranged gets our common Z. There are also other modifiers, like your fatigue and stress, that will raise or lower your skill.
And also as @phimseto mentioned, there are references to your skills from other characters.
Thank you for posting your text. This is really helpful.
I marked both of these down to fix in the next update.
