Zombie Exodus: Safe Haven, Part 4 Public Beta - updated 6/25/2025, 890,000+ words

well not with teen mc, youngest they can be is 15 or 16 i think, and gina is like what 50? so yeah that would be an immediate no no lol

he’s a kid who has been really supressing his true feelings on his mother’s death and the outbreak in general, MC can even comment on this multiple times and you can even ask parker at the hill camp to have a talk with nephew about his feelings (maybe it depends on how you raised him in the first part?)
and add to an mc with a biological baby and having all attention towards it, then i can see some growing enmity on the nephew’s part

She’s in her 30s, while the teen is 17 atleast. Nice try though. Good job, good effort.

So knowing that, what made you think that in your own words, “I still don’t see why Gina can’t be an option for a teen”?

There’s literally no point in dragging this out

Hey Jim will other Female Characters also ve able to get pregnant?

Damn. I though I clicked on a game about zombie apocalypse, not a dating/parenting simulator.

Unlikely, though probably during the epilogue in… -checks papers- 2525.

That said, got to thinking about somethings that might be fun to have in Part 4, if by chance.

Having a down time day with the Romance(s) where everything fine and dandy for the time being. Could just be lying in bed, snuggled up, resting our head on their shoulder or maybe a mix of lewdness.

Maybe having one of the prior people we’ve met just so happen to show up and join. Lyle and his daughter? The family and Kent? A new group entirely? Intrigue especially if on Jillian’s route and Lyle happens to be the father. That will go over REAL well I’m sure.

Going out on a mission, only to caught by the Thrones/New Army, beating to an inch of our life, but manage to get out of there and back to the junkyard, only to collapse outside our gates and be tended to. (Feel like this would be a solid lead in into Part 5 maaaybe.)

Prep working the Safe Haven as a alternate base of ops. Though, feel like thats a given given the title ‘Safe Haven’… Hmmm.

Discovering the true design of the Wendigo, likely a lab experiment gone entirely wrong and we are likely gonna be boned.

Elections! (Only, since my MC has been the leader and done a bang up job, reelection is in the bag! …Unless voter fraud…)

Fun lewdy times with our hacker girlfriend… only for our Ro(s) to walk in and either join, watch, or be miffed. Depends on how jealous they be I guess…

Just food for thoughts I guess.

Jaime is literally the only one who wants a re-election if not leader but he hates if he is leader which is backwards. Rachel’s condition is the only real reason to have one right now if she is leader.

As for the new army scenario u would probably be fine if military following orders but everyone else might have trouble apart from teen depending on ruthlessness of them. Right now they are mostly passive but we should still be careful.

As for the wendigo theory there is loads of proof of lab experiment gone wrong. There is even some proof early on when we talk to woody about it.

Definitely a good idea meeting guys like Kent again. Realistically some people would come and up see a few from time to time would be fun , ripe for drama if hostile to them last encounter and maybe a chance to have them return a favor for helping them out.

Ro’s spending time with us even for something like that is worth while.

The only complaint is cure quest line has been left alone despite collecting more information from some places like the base and the lab. I understand it can’t be progress fast like the others but some attention once in a while might be good.

My only suggestion is an update on the mc parents for teen and college student to find out what they are doing and whatnot. We phoned a guy who knows them but some time has since then.

Agree there. Been grabbing up all this info, hell, I even had the lab built in the process, yet it hasn’t been touched at all. Like I would kinda love to work along side Allison help us out with the research, maybe have a moment where the Romance(s) check in on us, kinda with expectation of stealing us away for a bit of love time, only to sit in on us talking about what we’ve discovered so far to them (even if they don’t get it.)

Like for example: Jillian, maybe with a little baby bump going, or not, kinda wants to steal us away to have some time to ourselves, only to catch us staring at some whiteboards we’ve been using to write things down, and we are in the process of writing down things and she just sits down watching us work, and once we’re done asks us how things are going, which causes us to go down the technical rabbit hole… only realize we need to dumb it down a little. xD

Totally should have a scene like that in there somewhere. Maybe even have the nephew talk to us doing that. No point of the lab right now unless we use it.

Maybe, though I think our Nephew would probably want to play with Missy rather than be underfoot in that case.

Considering how adamant they were with wanting that Haven…I wouldn’t call that passive per se. Then again… I did, maybe, sorta, kinda, activate the defense system. Do hope we still will have that hazmat suit and can walk through the front door without hassles, or more than likely, sneak in through another route.

Speaking of Thorns/NA, does add an interesting dynamic in terms of possible conflicts in the region. For me, not a fan of the Thorns at all, yet I’m willing to let by-gones be by-gones for now, unless they decide to start things again. Think in all likely hood though, we will likely come into conflict with them again and likely have one of two things happen.

One: We, through skilled tactics, force them to surrender and essentially take over the leadership there, either peacefully or killing the head off the snakes.

Two: They attack us, but we have the options to either have everyone that can fight stay and fight, having the “civilians” go to the Safe Haven, with help of our allies in both escorting and aiding us, or having everyone leave for the safe haven, only for us to stay behind and rig the place to go boom big time, likely taking out the Thorns but Keith, and lead to a one v one showdown as the fires burn around us.

For the NA though, obviously we gotta help our otaku hacker out of a jam. Will be interesting to see the reactions how the scumbag general reacts to the various leadership position on our part. Honestly feel like the NA are just scum and likely taking down the leadership and chain of command there, with help of Faulkner might be a solid power play to stabilize the region, so long as Faulkner is willing to allow groups in the area work on their own so to speak, as long as things are peaceful and helping others.

True that they wanted the base but apart from that they basically left us alone. And there was that one time where they killed zombies for us when we did the scouting mission with Rachel. They could of killed us there but didn’t so we should be mostly fine as long as we stay away from the base.

It’s true that the commander literally took over the chain of command since this is confirmed by former commander but as long as they are on a level and let us do our own thing I don’t really care.

They might be scum but they could help us take care of the thorns if we play our cards right since the thorns are in my opinion worst and we will do everyone a favor taking them out for good.

Sure, they may have helped us out and certainly want the base and such, but… I just get this feeling that more than likely they’ll (New Army) will turn into the Silverthornes, if not equally worse. Just a gut feeling that they may seem ‘Hey, we don’t mind you around and such’ for NOW but later one, once WE more than likely start making treks to the Haven and start using the resources and such there… Goodman and Co. likely won’t take too kindly to that at all. With with Vanguard, they seem chill and well and good. And I don’t think they will mind use using the resources, so long as we do share some of the supplies with them and help others, where as Goodman and such likely want it all for themselves to establish a power base.

With the Thorns, I do agree they are very likely a powder keg just waiting to go off and more than likely are going to try and start something, even if we are somewhat civil and diplomatic with them, atleast from a neutral stand point. And like I said prior, I think it’s certainly going to come to ahead and it will likely go either of the ways that I suggested. Personally, I would love for a “self-sacrifice” of sorts deal, where everyone is safe, we’ve booby traps the junkyard, more than likely Rachel and Jamie and a few others are watching from a well hidden position and see us draw in the Thorns, only for it to turn into a rather explosive trap, with Keith more than likely surviving it, just for us to go toe to toe for one last fight before we either win and handle the Thorns.

Darn, I know I’m late but I’m also good with A. I would certainly like that if Jillie doesn’t take the pills she’s pregnant with MC’s kid. And if she took the pills then it’s Lyle’s. Seems mighty fair that way.

So I suppose I don’t need to send you a screenshot of my last comment now @JimD?
Anyway, time to play again to not take the birth pills for Jillian :eyes:

Both of them are bad but using them to take other is probably the best way to do since they both have loads of guys and tech to play with.

Realistically we don’t stand a chance against new army since these guys are trained soldiers from the army before it fell to pieces not to mention they have things like a helicopter, armoured vehicles and what not. It will like shooting fish in a barrel if we fight them.

Right now they are doing the same as us gathering resources before they are gone. Basically first comes first served. I rather chances with them instead of thorns they are more stable. For now they are trying rally survivors to join them. Goodsman might be greedy but I’m sure could figure something out to keep some things.

Hohohoho, so first and i have to get this outta the way. Can we PLEASE just re-mention the fact that the game almost got a possible GILF :sob::rofl: Like im dying. Imagine a romance scene! The morning after, shes moving funny, her son asks whats wrong “Oh nothing, i popped my hip outta place last night”. AHAHAHAHAHAHA Being able to make snide remarks to her son “Kek banged your mom” causing an all out brawl.

So, if we have A route. The only way for Jilians baby to not be ours is to be a female MC. Which makes sense. Now imagine being a character with the short fuse quirk when being told that? MC is about to go punch alot of holes in walls. Or violently go massacre hordes of Z’s.

Also, i never thought of this before. But, in the pet route. If we have a cat, and im just throwing this out there. As a MAYBE possible idea? Just something to think about. If we manage to train it well ((to the point where it doesnt get flat out eaten on the hill)). Could we possibly turn it into a tactical cat? Totally not biased, or a cat person. Nope. I just think having Sergeant Mews in charge of holding some ammo pouches. Following us in all their glory as we wage war on bandits and Z’s. Maybe give them a little helmet, or vest for protection.

Cause a new military would never have sketchy projects going around in the backround. Would never see peoplebas potential resources themselves for them. Dont get me wrong, no way id join the thorns either. But i sure as hell wouldnt join a split branch of the military lead by a greedy leader.

Also, max stealth. Some explosives with max fire arms and silenced weapons. And we could make a joke out of a good chunk of that military. With the right max stats, our MC can flat out become a almost one person army or special agent

Could go from either going semi nuclear, and likely needing a relief of either going off to kill things or quickie.

Add a thermo nuke and we got a tactical nuclear cat.

If the New army and Silverthorne ever fight, it will be the biggest curbstomp in the series period.

New army have thousand of soldiers, while Silverthorne only have around 100 people, and not all of them are soldiers

New army have humvees, assault helicopters, fighter aircraft, etc. Silverthorne’s best is an APC

New army is decentralized, so it is (near) impossible to take them out in one large fight, Silverthorne have a HQ in a FEMA camp, one air stike run and Silverthorn become Silver gone

The only way i can see New army being defeated is if all the factions (Biker gang, Silverthorne, Vanguard, Our own faction, other small groups) work together and united against a single enemy, and that is a problem on its own.
