The scientist storyline to me has a lot of potential like curing zombie virus or this is my favored theory becoming advanced zombie controlling zombies or making other lesser variant zombies to conquering the rest of the world. I love this game it has everything a good zombie rpg should have thank you.
The problem with that is the mc could go feral and become a hive mind for them assuming u get the control ability. I think the furthest a doc mc would go is introducing a bullet specifically designed to put down zombies better than normal weapons since headshots are the only way right now
I just thought the mc could alter the virus since he collected a bunch of samples of zombie he can make a new virus to controlled them and used the silver group leader blood to make the mc in control of them self and others.
I more so just want a scene where we and the gal nurse are working together, with whiteboards covered with notes, we being in the middle of writing things when our romance/s pop in and see how things are going, only to set us off as we go on a tangent of science speak, only to turn around and see them either eyes glazed over or just smiling and nodding politely.
Here are some errors in chapter 14 I found while looking though the code:
If you have both Gina and Jillian as RO’s and are doing the Jillian pregnancy route, Gina will have dialogue related to it if you choose to talk to her at the beginning of Chapter 14 at breakfast. There are a couple of issues related to it: for one this particular bit of dialogue will technically never trigger while playing the demo because one of the variables that is being checked for is from chapter 8 of part 3 and it only appears once in the demo, at the check itself. This issue will probably resolve itself at the release of part 4, but if you want people to give feedback on this little bit of dialogue, then I suggest having the problem variable be set up upon selecting both Jillian and Gina as RO’s in the demo set up.
Continuing from the above point is that since Gina’s reaction to Jillian having a baby is skepticism (she flat out thinks it’s more likely that Jillian is lying due to her being a con artist), there isn’t anything to take into account the possibility that the MC could’ve talked to Jillian first and having an infirmary to confirm the preganacy or, by not having an infirmary, have made plans with Jillian have a baby together anyway. It makes the MC look like they have the memory of a goldfish if they were able to confirm the preganacy and then when they talk to Gina, they’ll either never bring the ultrasound results up or they can choose to be as skeptical as she is (this would be fine if we were also given the option to lie about it for whatever reason). I feel that there should be some branch in Gina’s dialogue that takes into account the scenario of the player being to prove that Jillian is pregnant (or have decided to have a baby together) prior to talking with Gina.
Speaking of having goldfish memory: the whole Jillian pregnancy section happens TWICE; once when you talk to her and again when you’re done with the breakfast get-together. There doesnt seem to be any variable set up that would be checked to prevent this from repeating again if you choose to talk with Jillian first.
I also found a couple a spelling/grammer errors:
- Jillian looks up at you. “You going to be a father.”
It should be: “You’re going to be a father.” - Jillian steers dry up. “Do you mean it?”
It should be: Jillian’s tears dry up.
I understand what u trying to say but don’t think anyone going to be the test subject since if the new virus somehow works u want it to that person could become dangerous especially if someone from another group.
Another thing that could happen is the z virus mutates and creates more dangerous types of zombies aka smart zombies, runners etc…
Generally I think the group would try to stop us due to paranoia and kill the person who has the new virus. They were freaking out about the z virus being airborne when clearly u just need to be bit.
If it does happen it will probably play out like the original game in the cure path where we have to make the right decision to create it or it fails.
Wait, where does that quote come from? Am I blind?
You need to be playing a male mc who is in a relationship with her as to where its at exactly im not sure lol.
I mean, I code dived and still can’t find this sentence.
I dont code dive myself so unable to help ya unfortunatly andnits posible its something new that general public doesnt have or something else entirly lol
but how does jillian know the father is mc?
I think some of these will be fixed in the next public beta. I’m hoping to have one out in early July after I put out Deadbury and another chapter of Zombie Exodus: Stronghold.
Thank you for reporting them. This really helps.
So im wondering is th baby ours because if not ill be really bummed out also is the parents storyline continuing?
Paternity is… subject to change.
It was mentioned up above that there was a possibility for such i think in a teen playthrough. Thiuch i could be mistaken been a bit since i saw that convirsation lol
People like you are heros.
Respect
I noticed a couple of errors with the Jillian pregnancy storyline in the public beta. I’m not sure if it is worth pointing out, because I know that one is in flux, and this may be fixed in the private one.
Currently, if you talk to Jillian about the pregnancy at lunch, it triggers the conversation where you do the ultrasound, but then it inependently gets triggered later in the day, leading to her pregnancy getting confirmed twice. Also, at the end of that conversation, it triggers both goodbye dialogues, so she says she is going to do chores, walks off, then says she is going back to breakfast and walks off.
Another random bug I spotted in part one, if a teenage character tells Lyle that his parents are gone, it always acts like the teen didn’t know what happened to them, even if they have tried calling. I did some code diving, and it looked like there are two options there, but only one is triggering, maybe because of the lack of parentheses around one variable there.
Edit: another issue that popped up in my Jillian run is that, if you have a three-way with Gina, Gina will still ask whether you are sleeping with Jillian before you go to the Silverthorn camp, and you can either confess or deny it, which doesn’t make a lot of sense when she is part of it.
Thanks! I will post fix them for the next beta release.
Speaking of which, a new version has been uploaded. Please review the updates in-game.

Still seems to be missing the co-parent talk for now, even when it’s confirmed. Also, seemed odd that Billie goes with to confirm the pregnancy but doesn’t offer any feedback after it’s confirmed.
Also, Teenage unable to choose Kelly still, in either case.
I really enjoy this story. There’s just so much to do and offer, especially with the inventory system. I would have no patience for all that when it comes to writing/coding, so kudos to you, Jim.
With this latest update, I only got so far because I completely forgot about logging in to save and my browser refreshed. So I don’t have screenshots for this, but I’ll try to replicate it again. What happened was the game seemed to forget I was playing a woman MC.
I was romancing Jillian and got the pregnancy storyline. We had a nice talk, and she mentioned sleeping with Lyle and then we moved on. However, when I sat down to eat with her the next day, she mentioned Billie’s comment and we confronted her. Then Billie brought up the argument about not believing MC is the father and Jillian tried to convince my cis female MC that she was indeed the father. Lol.
I wound up having that discussion with her twice, actually. A little Groundhog Day there.
