I think u should add a cheat menu this so good ppl would still try it with the cheats and play regular it’s so fun to replay this over n over n add some more days for us to fully set up the junk yard and actually use the junkyard features would like to be a patron on this game
If you pick up those bonus attribute/skill point add-ons, it’s effectively a cheat code.
Tru I feel a cheat menu of some sort would still be better and cheats are optional even without them the game still a good jawn:fire:
Thank you for your kind words. I’m working hard to finish the next part, so get ready for a lot more playthroughs
Thank you as well for your kind words. I try to be active and listen to the readers, so they can get the type of game they want to read.
I have thought about making difficulty levels: easy, normal, and hard. Or something like that. I plan to do some things to improve the game overall after I am finished the main content of Part 4.
That’s a great idea actually also the Tommy arc where u have to find his mother killers I feel like that’s a great lil side story the father and son I wish we had a option to recruit one or both of them along with a few other characters I wish we could have recruited
I feel that will happen soon since that psycho has joined the bandits so Tommy could get revenge soon if he smart about it instead of just rushing in
Honestly I could care less about Tommy and his quest for vengence. I mean, what does he get out of it than ‘I avenged my mom, who was a zombie’…
True but that same guy also robbed us early game so some payback is due. Not to mention he has been causing problems with a bunch of people including Kelly and Woody
Kelly is a given, given her nature. Woody is optional, if you fail at protecting your home.
According to Kelly, Peter is a creep, that, and they try to rob me, that’s enough for me to want them dead
It doesn’t matter since the attack was unprovoked especially if u make the mob leave him alone. That enough reason most of us want revenge and adding Tommy arc while doing that is iceing on the cake.
Honestly if I could see a CoG becoming a video game this would be in the top 3.
I have four questions.
First which of the teen ROs are alright poly romance? (Counting part 4 options)
Second can the new character Monica be romanced by the teen/college student MCs?
Third if the teen MC’s parents are alive and make an appearance in part 4 or in the future will they have similar appearance as the protagonist? (Such as hair and eyes.)
And finally if the teen MC is romance Jillian do you think it would be funny if the parents had some sort of reaction for when they hear or find out about the pregnancy? (Depending on their relationship with the teen MC, if I remember correctly we can choose what relationship we have with them in part 1.)
Sorry for the long reply I just love this story and extremely curious. I’d also like to thank you for all of your hard work and devotion into creating this magnificent story thank you
Here are a couple of bugs I discovered that are related to the management menu of the junkyard that occur at the end of each chapter of part 3:
-
The solar powered generator doesn’t seem to do anything. I had one in my inventory prior to the start of part 3. There is no option to install this generator, neither at the beginning of part 3 when you arrive at the junkyard nor at the junkyard management menu at the end of the chapters. According to the Junkyard Reference, it is “Built and Active/i” but it doesn’t seem to a) take away from the available junkyard space like it says it should, b) no option is given to install it like any other improvement that is listed and c) it doesn’t seem to be producing power like it should be given that it is solar powered.
-
The code doesn’t seem to support multiple improvements (to clarify, I am referring to things like farm plots and greenhouses, not the reinforcements or one time improvements like the infirmary) even though it gives one the option to do so. I can build up to two farm plots, but trying to build more than two results in the junkyard available space to go down as expected, but you can’t assign anyone to build it because it does not appear as an option in the assign tasks section for group members like the last two times. The same applies for if you try to add more than one chicken coup, one greenhouse and one vegetable garden.
These aren’t game breaking bugs by any means: they are just a minor annoyance and bugs like these as expected in projects with complicated coding like this one. I only stumbled upon these bugs because I went out of my way to see just how efficient and well-off I could can make the junkyard by the end of part 3 (answer is ridiculously well off if you have everyone possible). I really like the end of chapter system with the way everything is set up to allow you to do anything you want in molding the junkyard into a more defensible and substainable safe haven on top of everything else it allows for, but there is always room for improvement. Hopefully JimD sees this post and can work out the kinks I discovered and improve the menu overall for part 4. As a long time fan, I’m really looking forward to the continuation of this game.
One thing worth mentioning, is that the junkyard has its own power system. You only need to add solar panels to it. Thus, an extra power source isn’t needed.
Would not care for their reactions, mainly because I am too fond of Oppai Waifu and Cougar Love to care what they would think.
The artwork continues the trend of looking pretty much like I imagined, still really curious to see Jaime, as no description other than his size, no hair, eye color, or even skin tone. In my mind he looks like VIng Rhames.
One question, at the beginining of chapter 11, if you are on the Madison path (I’m not sure about other paths), it says she didn’t sleep in your room, but she’s my MC’s room mate, where exactly did she sleep?
Dun dun DUNNNNNNNNN… Kevin.
Hello! I just finished playing the whole game and I really enjoyed it! I was wondering if John Graves (I think that’s his name—whoever the firefighter is) is going to be a romance option. I fell in love with him as soon as I met him and I was very excited when there was the option to flirt and claim that you’re interested in him, but he never showed up again after that scene and it doesn’t say that he’s a romance option in Part 4.
If so, Kevin has cashed his check. I’ll bury what’s left of him right along side Eli. And move right on to Elsie. She seems pretty chill. I highly doubt it though. Madison is bordering on clingy in my playthrough, 95 relationship (I think it’s the maximum, as I’ve never had anyone higher), and I’ve pretty thoroughly put Kevin in his place, while maintaining a relatively high 75 relationship in my most recent playthrough.
Hodbadger, Jim said we’d be seeing the Graves family again, but also said that after the most recent group of RO’s (Anders, Alison, August, Monica, and Elsie), he felt there were enough options. Each one come with 10-15k more words to each part, and unless the Graves join our group, the logistics would be a nightmare.
