Zombie Exodus: Safe Haven, Part 4 Public Beta - updated 4/1/2025, 760,000+ words

That’s why I haven’t really looked at the art because in my mind they look different and seeing portraits of them throws me off lol.

It’s the opposite for me cause when I see the sketches, I can implement it into my imagination when reading. Also so far the sketches are similar to what I thought they looked like.

Btw these sketches are top quality :raised_hands::raised_hands:

Sean will be nominated (if he’s in the group and available). He just won’t win.

Yes, you will be able to trade with them if allies or you will be able to raid them or request that they pay tribute to you. There are pros and cons of each approach.

Thank you and thanks for providing those errors.

No, the teenager storyline is unique to them.

Mishy’s dog is spayed.

Thank you! Rachel and Reilly are coming soon.

Also, I will be putting a choice at the beginning of the game on whether or not you want to see artwork as you read, only in the stats page, or not at all.

No she had a crush on you for a while even when she was with her usual partner, the person she was usually with she broke up with and was gonna ask the teenage MC out.

I get that. End of the day it’s, as of now, a mostly unimportant section with characters that, again as of now, don’t have any lasting impact. Shit, my hangup isn’t even solely on your work; it’s nearly every creator, even the Choice side of these games.

Personally, I don’t really give much thought to the topic as it’s not very relevant in my day-to-day, I only brought it up because it’s something I’ve been noticing throughout any number of these games, Hosted and Choice side, and if I was going to bring it up, may as well bring it up somewhere that seems more likely to take a criticism on it, safe to say I’m not a big part of the inclusive audience.

I’ve been reading these games/stories long enough to remember when the inclusivity wasn’t a selling point.

Anyway that’s enough rambling for a month-and-change late response, big fan of your current work, would be really cool to see a security guard starting job if you ever were to add more. The cops/military routes don’t quite fit.

Is it free to use?

Just curious, where and when will we get to see the full set of customized artwork for the characters? I just want to see how far off are my imaginations :joy:

Hi, I saw you mention that you were going to be reworking relationships as you go back in the chapters, and I was wondering if you’d perhaps put a little loving on Reilly’s as well. I know he’s meant to be standoffish but it feels like there aren’t as many opportunities to get close to him, and it
especially feels like a constant, near impossible, uphill battle trying to get enough affection to unlock earlier chapter romance scenes with him if you don’t decide to start off as a criminal. Especially given how quickly he seems to take interest to the woman in the lab(? It’s been a while forgive me) if you don’t pursue him. I don’t know maybe it’s just me.

I’m loving the continuation of the story, it’s really good.
Suggestion: the part where you have a pet, it’s a bit unfair for me to train my dog and have it back to square one when I play part 4. If it’s possible(no pressure), can you do something about it??

Question:Can our preggy girlfriend(forgot her name) be pregnant with our child or is it just her dead ex’s?

Again really enjoying the development of the story🔥

Preggy gf is prego with MC’s kid not the ex’s.

I thought it’s based on the decision on letting her have birth control or not.

It’s gonna be getting changed soon.

Current version: always her ex’s.

Future: If it’s a male MC, it’s his. Otherwise, it’s her ex’s. Taking BC muddles things but it’s likely her Ex’s too.

Constant: she’s always pregnant. Male MCs get the plotline currently because she’s simply for vigilant for any signs. After all, you wouldn’t think you’re pregnant if you were in a lesbian relationship, would you? (Her ex believed himself infertile)

I thought the author said that he plans the child to be yours if you don’t make her take birth control but would make it Lyle’s child if you do.

That’s probably the case. Idk if he’s leaving room for ambiguity or not, but I’ll assume it’s Lyle’s.

So is she pregnant if you don’t get into a relationship with her??

Yes. Not aware as she’s not looking for signs yet, but she is.

Can’t wait for the changes there, and Gina becoming Co-Mom.

I’m always happy to discuss decisions on make and accept criticism if they don’t make sense. That specific mission/section was written by someone who was working with me, and he had someone in his life who is nonbinary. Inclusion is important to him, and I know it’s important to many of the readers here. I know you’re not arguing against it, but I just thought you may want to know how it evolved.

It’s going to take a while. We are looking at at least a year. The artist is quite busy, and so I can’t push her to do more than 1 image per month. I will show you the most image she produced is Reilly.

I definitely think you will like Part 4. He has always been standoffish because of his past. You will see that he is starting to come around more.

Yes, the pet will respond to commands if previously trained. However, even with real dogs, if you don’t continue to train them, they lose things over time. I get what you’re saying though. I am working on some improvements to that system, so earlier training is not worthless.

I am still working out the Jillian pregnancy storyline, but I hope to share that in June/July.

Hey! I just really wanted to say that I have played the so far released content for a long time now. So many different runs, styles etc. This is legitimately my favorite Zombie Genre thing like- ever. The characters are so well written, the depth of diversity in playstyle is beyond impressive, and I just keep coming back. I have to take a break between runs so my brain doesn’t autocomplete things because I’m starting to memorize it at this point.

Im constantly replaying this (and I’m planning on replaying it today again)because I love zombie apocalypse and survival games and this one is so clearly imbedded with passion and care for the craft. And this is before the story is even complete (I fear for my freetime when it’s finished). It’s so well written, and the author is so active and attentive when it comes to interacting with and listening to the suggestions of his fanbase as well, which I’m sure is a contributor to how amazing his stories are turning out. I’m literally obsessed. If you haven’t played the first Zombie Exodus I’d recommend checking it out!
