Zombie Exodus: Safe Haven, Part 3 - releasing 3/3/2022

Yeah I probably should have been more specific no matter what you do church and driver can’t be saved. In order to get a scenario where only Eli dies, you can’t have church and driver when you start part 3, and you have to have good junkyard security

A bit too early to say it’s Zeta. Get a cut and you can get all kinds of nasty infections. Also, don’t you tend to turn pretty fast or am I misremembering? I mean, when you’re in the lab without a suit, you turn in minutes.

Yes, i agree I’m not a doctor by any means but i think it’s just pneumonia or over exhaustion due to fatigue since when was the last time that girl was truly asleep and resting? Probably just a infected wound… i think. She just needs a lot of rest, medical treatment and care like antibiotics and proper diet, before you know it she’ll be back to normal like nothing happened. @GrimReaperJr1232

Ahh if they’re in the group they still died, that’s sad😔, still thank you for explaining that making everything clearer

Since Gina got changed to only dying if you neglect defense I don’t see Rachel getting killed off by an offscreen zombie scratch.

Now maybe we’ll have to undertake a dangerous mission to get medicine or have to make a hard choice between the good of the group and saving Rachel but it would kind of be unfair to have an RO go from unavoidable death to variable death only to have an arguably more “important” (only because she’s one of 3 possible leaders) RO die unavoidably only a few chapters later.

Yes, seems a waste of a good character in the story. Plus she’s one of the few dependable ones who actively contributes to the well-being of the group, sure she’s quite shady and questionable at times but still it’s the apocalypse. You can’t exactly pickup someone like her with those unique skill sets from the side of the road, who is willing to do anything to survive and not holding us back with their moral compass. @MrSwiftly

Dangerous mission to get important medicine? Metro: Exodus anyone?

If that’s what it takes to save her then I’m gonna slaughter a horde of infected and an rogue army of renegade soldiers, come hell and high water to get what i need.

Yes, I can add that. I actually meant to do this earlier, so I appreciate the reminder.

Got it.

That’s a powerful Taser! Just kidding, I will fix it.

I may add this as a a possibility for the MC in the future, but it adds a lot of complexity that I don’t want to add at the moment. I treat each character and the MC as very specific entities in this game. This is not just a case of adding pregnancy to a character like it’s an accessory, but it changes the whole arc of the character. I think it fits for Jillian’s character at the moment.

I may add this to the college student as well. I just see the college student as more independent than the teens. Cotton but I do agree with all of the other points that you make.

Rachel doesn’t die. Did you read this happening somewhere, because it would be a bug.

This is a great point and I will make changes so that the parents are searching for the MC, the sister, and the nephew.

Ah sorry for not making it clear i mean prevent her getting sick

what is the max science stat (zeta knowledge and specimens collected) that we can achieve till the end of the demo??

For this demo if I’m not wrong remembering it’s 2 or 3 samples

I’m guessing if Rachel is scratched and infected, part 4 would be the perfect time to try and get a cure going so that we can attempt to save her.

Hey, hey, I have a question / doubt regarding a specific group of characters that maybe someone from the forum or JD himself can answer me, and is this one.

Do you remember the trio of soldiers who were chasing Lopez in Part 1 Episode 2? (Cowboy, White and Croston IIRC), what happened to them? Will they even appear again? I find it strange that they are not mentioned at all, not even now that the rest of the factions that we are going to meet at throughout the game are popping up at their own pace, like the New Army and Goodman and Faulkner’s men, not to mention the River Dogs and the museum guys, actually I was expecting some kind of mention when the military came to Lancelot, something like :

"While I hide in the forest a few meters from the bunker doors, I hear the bustle and noise of the different voices and vehicles, some with louder tones than others, and while I do not hear clearly what the members of the “true army” are saying, I can distinguish their silhouettes and uniforms, as well as their not so small weapons that they have with them, but what most catches my attention is a group of 3 people on one of the multiple jeeps that there around the area, because I had already met and talked to them before, when I still had a home and not a pile of smoking rubble, they were White, Croston and “Cowboy”, the trio of soldiers from whom Lopez fled, now with even colder and more professional expressions and attitudes than before, even Cowboy wasn’t even wearing his iconic hat. "

I don’t know if it’s a spoiler or not if they will reappear in the game, but it seems strange to me that they are reliving the “Vince treatment” while more and more old and well-known faces are reappearing.

Well, you can kill on of them, and when you meet Lopez again He mentioned that he was able to Deal
with them, when he joins the group He has weapons so I assume they are dead. Since they went awol the only group they May have joined, If they survived would be the Silverthornes and since we did not meet them there… So I believe they are dead :skull_and_crossbones:

And in a later conversation, Lopez confirms that he killed them. (Technically he says he “finished the job”, but I think that can be assumed to mean they dead.)

Oh, I did not know this, I suppose that part of the doubt was also due to my own lack of attention, although thanks for answering

@JimD Ok so I have this idea that would be very neat if you added into the game.

You know how you’d allow us to wake up in the morning in the game and allow us to switch up our characters clothes and weapons?.

What if you also allow us to someway somehow get some physical scars?? Like whether they be intentional (you narrate that our character grabs a knife and scars according to what we choose) or accidental (mid shoot-out with an enemy group and we get nicked with a bullet or actually get hit with one and survive). Does that seem possible?

I think this option is plausible but only for one who have high stress levels, by choosing the option the stress level will decrease but the need to sacrifice health and humanity

Another awesome tidbit I’d like to ask. Is Kelly of Asian Descent? All this time now I’ve been sorta imagining her as such but then after a while I started imagining her as white. Then all of a sudden in her romance scene in part 3 she’s wearing a kimono.
