im Useless at code is there not something out there which could help me build a story.
I’m afraid if you’re looking for a language other than ChoiceScript to make a game with, I think you’d be better off asking at another forum. 
Otherwise, there’s CSIDE which can help you with ChoiceScript coding and a couple of coding tutorials floating around the forum. I also recommend consulting this forum thread, for help with the basics.
