Hey, glad the idea of playing as one of the Omnituens appeals!
One of my eventual goals is to replace every dialogue option with unique ones for the ‘Malkavian clan’, because they are my personal faves. But I know that’s gonna be one big undertaking lol

I haven’t actually played VTM (no nvidia), but I did play Red Embrace: Hollywood as a Golgotha, and the feeling of finally being seen and represented was intense. Some other players said golgothan philosophical musings made no sense but it made every sense and I was so excited lol
No better feeling than to find some others that See the things you see when no one else seems to.

Oh, I remember playing Red Embrace Hollywood ages ago. It was so sad, but so good.
I romanced Markus first ofc.
I also love all the philosophical musings clans like Malkavians bring to a story too. I just wish I was better at writing them. To think I focused quite a bit on nihilistic thinkers in philosophy at uni, and yet I’m so bad at writing such musings 
Right now I’m replaying Disco: Elysium, to try and get some inspiration for the Omnituens scenes. I might have to replay Red Embrace too.

I found a big bug. I’ve managed to find Nefise and question her, but I always get interrupted by a scene where police show up. Then I’m asked to find Nefise again and the cycle repeats? It’s quite confusing.

Calder, from what you could gather, was a man of short yet well proportion stature.
The first physical characteristic which drew your attention, as it had during his interaction withJulian
Could we have a blurb if you choose to name yourself as the thing Julian/Juliana nicknames you as? I quite liked the nickname Lunae. Also blurbs when you choose the same name as an existing character. Naming an mc Calder and then meeting another Calder after three seconds would be awkward.

Another bug:
Regarding the hobo hierographics scene, you put *if (Streetwise >=10) [blurb], *if (Intelligence >=20) [blurb] and so on. That way it repeats all the blurbs for players who have more than one stat pass for those. You have to do an *else if chain.
Also, if you click hobo option first, you can’t get back to choosing to stuff Irk into the cat flap.

Gosh, you have me really torn now. I’m not sure if I want to go for Juliana or the Jack+Human poly relationship doing my main playthrough now 
It’s awful, but I love it because it proves that they’re all amazing characters after all. But hearing how Calder treated Arcadia, only made me dislike him even more than I already did x3

Thanks for pointing these out. The files are updated, that bug with the *if statements is fixed, and you can also now try another route outside the house if you change your mind on Jack’s hobo route.
That’s so strange that it’s still happening for you, it came up all good in mine, I’m so sorry! I can’t find what’s causing the problem, so for now I uploaded a band aid fix, just setting the variables again after admitting to Andreas and Jack of your betrayal, so it should work fine now, cross fingers.

@Cyphr Ahhhh, I’m so glad to hear that. 
I’m hoping some people change their minds regarding their first impressions of characters once they find out more about them in the solo one on one scenes. The one’s who might come off as initially the most kind and sincere might not be quite to innocent, and vice versa.
And, yeah, the Arcadia story line is rather messed up. But I don’t want to shy away from darker topics. And yes Calder is a trash man, but he has reasons for being so. So maybe you wont hate him quite as much if you explore his backstory. Or then again, you might loathe him, cause he can go batshit crazy and kill both Arcadia and Andreas in one route of his personal story. So yeah, I’m real excited to write that lol

I totally forgot to mention that you can block yourself off from some romances in this chapter. Firstly you can block yourself off from a Calder romance if you admit to Andreas you betrayed them to Julian/a.
Secondly, you can block off a ‘consensual’ romance with Arcadia, if you sleep with them (regardless if you are ‘nice’ or ‘cruel’ about it), and also if you feed them your blood against their will or if they are unconscious.

Arcadia made me just, so sad. I want him to be happier! I’ll try my best to do that even if i don’t romance him! I’m also loving how in my first run of this game i kinda just acted however i wanted without a particular image or purpose in my mind, and i became quite a contradictory person/vampire! Where i betrayed Calder by lying to the historian and got her captured by Julian (which honestly i don’t know what her fate will be but i can’t imagine it’ll be very pleasant) and then lied to both Andreas and Jake about it. But i feel like that tense situation is making Calders true colours show where he’s not the kind of person who’ll love you even if you’re not useful to him. The more you fail the more his cold and cruel personality shows and honestly i want Jack and Andreas to get away from that, they deserve better! It sounds good when i say it like that but it’s still very manipulative though. Not to mention Julian is still very much a murder happy pupp- i mean vampire! But i think it would physically hurt me to be mean to Arcadia, props to you for being able to write all that. I hope i can bring him with me/free him when and if Calders whole clique or whatever gets all fucked up because of me.
