March 3, 2026 — The Great Rewrite first half finished
That’s the simplest way to put it.
I lost my phone. It contained most of the core worldbuilding for the game, including future characters and key ideas. That happened about a year ago.
After that, I tried to cancel the whole project because I was frustrated and felt like I had lost too much. But I couldn’t go through with it. Too much of my time was already poured to the game, and letting it all disappear didn’t feel right.
So I slowly started rebuilding it from memory. It took months to recover what I could, piece by piece.
The new phone I replaced it never turned up the missing data, even after trying different ways to retrieve it.
That’s the real reason behind the long hiatus.

Frequently asked question
-
Will your WIP feature two types of access, public or private(like early access for supporters)? No, it wont. I understand how tough things can be financially for many readers, and I want everyone to enjoy the game equally. That said, I don’t blame authors who do offer paid access, times are hard, and everyone just like me is just trying to survive.
-
*How many chapters will your game have? I’m still deciding, but somewhere between 11 and 16 chapters feels right. Depends on how the pacing and story development go.
-
Will your game be part of a trilogy? Maybe…
4.Will characters have portraits in the future? Yes, absolutely. I can’t imagine this game without visual portraits. It brings them to life, and it’s something I definitely plan to include.
What is the inspiration behind this story-game?
This game draws inspiration from a variety of sources, with a particular emphasis on the epic storytelling and intricate world-building found in many beloved books, most notably, The Lord of the Rings
