Could we get involved with other countries wars outside of South America, like if the Vietnam war is still going could we join and help out north or south Vietnam or help out in the hundreds different proxy wars or are we just staying in South America? Or maybe we could help out with fellow South American countries wars like the Falkland war or something

The Falkland wars is a valid possibility that I could include in the future, but the Vietnam War ended in 1975 and the MC’s presidency begins in 1976.
Besides, all important international wars during the 76-80’s happened in the Middle East [and some happened in Africa, but that’s another story]. Even though this region is a hot topic to include right now, I fail to imagine what would Cordillaria profit by participating in a conflict in that region, neither I imagine the US or the Soviet Union requesting Cordillaria’s military aid in Middle East or African conflicts.

It is like a mutual defense pact between the signatory countries of the American continent, which has been invoked several times during the Cold War, such as in the Cuban missile crisis, to impose the joint naval blockade on Cuba, just as Argentina tried to invoke in the Malvina’s War (Sorry, Falkland Islands).
Cordilaria could be a current member and at some point get involved in other conflicts in Latin America or also leave it.

Answering your question about the treaty; Cordillaria is a member since the beginning of the cold war, considering that President Martillo (a pro-US politician) was in power at the time of the foundations of the pact.

The treaty don’t stop the MC from being an ally of the Soviet Union, neither the other way around. But the MC will have the option to leave the treaty to please the Soviets.

I wonder if it will be possible to incorporate policies from different economic models. I had the idea to RP in a way that would be somewhat similar to the 4 Asian Tigers in an attempt to emulate their economic growth.

This is exactly what I’ve been working for quite a period of time; giving the MC the opportunity to create their own economic model and allow growt in their own way.
I’m still studying and researching about it, but that’s something that I will definitely try to implement in future updates.
