Small update; mainly to report a milestone for Reem-mancers:
I’m 6.000 words into Chapter 6, and it has just so happened that, given high enough approval, you can lock in your romance with her as early as this. I had planned for all the lock-ins to happen sometime during this chapter, but moreso towards the end, but I was writing a scene where it’s possible for MC to offer physical affection again… only this time, it’s very open, and public, and right in front of the other colleagues (including her little brother).
Reem will allow this if approval is higher than 70 (which should be easy enough to do, given a lot of you have already broken her stat bar lol). There will also be a second opportunity later on, if MC really does need to gain some more approval. If that’s the case, Reem will gently reject the PDA advance with the reason that she doesn’t engage in casual intimacy this openly unless “she knows it’s a bit more serious”. But she’ll still be available and interested in MC, so no worries there! She just needs a bit more time.
That’s really all from my end right now. I merely wanted to report on this little milestone. GO MC!! Get that giant girlfriend!

Awesome update, the buildup of tension has been pretty satisfying so far!
Characters are feeling real and dynamic, and in a way that draws the person reading the story into it. No notes, just praise ^-^

Although I’m not really a horror fan, I’ve really enjoyed this WIP. Great and diverse cast of characters with potential ROs who are all deep and interesting NPCs, though Reem is the one who’ve got my heart. I also really enjoyed the part of working with the kids at the camp and getting to know them and try to help them. And even though they’re not made with quite the same level of detail as the potential ROs, I’m still impressed by both the diversity and depth you bring into their personaily and interactions in what is already a large cast of characters who all get a lot of “screen time”.
And as a neuro-divergent guy, I really appreciate you including a neurodivergent RO, a neurodivergent camp kid and even low-key giving me and other players/readers the opportunity to make the MC neurodivergent as well.
Like I said, I’m not really a horror fan, so the parts I’ve enjoyed the most are the parts where my MC interacts with the rest of the main cast and/or works with the kids at the camp. I’m aware that you made this WIP as a horror WIP and really like it with the horror elements as well. But I do think you have a real talent for writing characters and social interactions and really hope that you sometime in the future will make another WIP that focuses on that, without horror elements.
Also in the scene after you could get Flo to help you in the interaction with the other camp counselor who were trying to get one of the kids to leave his jacket, it would have been nice to have one more option, when she asked the MC if they thought she was a bad person. Something along the line of" not bad as such, but very much lacking in knowledge and understanding of people different from you and I hope this experience will teach you to be more understanding and open-minded in the future"

Hi! I swear your reviews are so high value haha. I don’t catch half of these mistakes I make. I’ve been a little busy so I haven’t fixed them yet but I assure you, I’ve seen them and I greatly appreciate you pointing them out! Just wanted to go ahead and say that 
Firstly, yes, Enola is dyslexic, and Javi has ADHD (and is possibly also on the autism spectrum in my headcanon). I’m kinda giddy happy that it reads like that too! So thanks for noticing.
Okay so, the swimsuit/t-shirt thing is sth I totally forgot to tie together. I meant to give the option to take it off before swimming or sth like that but then I think I forgot?? So now all MCs who picked that are sitting around in soggy shirts, canonically 
There actually is a particular reason for the lack of a “Reem cuddling up to MC” option. It might be a stupid-sounding reason but I promise I’m going somewhere with this. Reem’s romance route usually has her in charge when it comes to the physical aspect. It’s a little bit compulsive with her, actually. I thought about her leaning against MC but it felt too delicate for her; like it would have been out of character, you know? I dunno maybe it’s weird. I might reconsider adding it in.
And yeah, the Enola/Benny scene doesn’t change stats bc it’s basically unavoidable, so I wasn’t sure if I should apply changes. Another thing I wasn’t exactly sure about… might reconsider that too (insert was feeling cute, might delete later meme here)
The hide-and-seek-scene, yeah, I think I meant latch. And what happened was that the kids closed it from the inside, through like a gap in the boards. I’m gonna add a lil explanation so that makes sense.
Also, you like Reem, right? Her romance route is really gonna take off in the next chapter

If you feel it’d be out of character for her, then don’t. See if you can find an elegant way to convey the why instead.

Ok firstly, I’m neurodivergent as well, so that inclusion is important to me for the same reasons. I only recently got my diagnosis (despite struggling with the same issues all my life) so I’m still becoming more comfortable with writing neurodivergence even though I really want to (I was very anxious about it at first). So I’ll probably add more options for divergent MC as time goes by!
Secondly, I really love horror BUT you might be intrigued to hear that I’m actually working on a second WIP rn that doesn’t have horror. I haven’t made a cog page for it yet bc the demo isn’t finished; but it’ll be about music/obsession/mental health… maybe that’ll be your cup of tea? I dunno thought this was a good time to bring that up. Anyway, I’m very glad you’re still enjoying Such Happy Campers!
