Oooh, I guess I should point out some things. The project is not dead. Unfortunately life got busier right as I posted this WIP so progress has slowed a bit. I’m still working on it. So that’s just a heads up. No matter if I finish the second chapter or not I’ll update it within 24 hours from now with what I have done.

UPDATE ONE: Gone a bit through the second chapter but haven’t finished it yet. It’s mainly just the first meeting with your first companion. Just a note, if you go rushing around or charging through the door you will have a much shorter playthrough than the other options. Just keep that in mind. Also have no idea if I’m doing this update thing right.
Edit: Oh yeah, no choice to eat the cinnamon rolls yet. Don’t get too hyped up about feeding your character. I’ll get around to it. I swear!

So far, I’m quite enjoying this. The relationship tracker which uses description instead of a bar graph is a nice touch, and the soda is a fun little twist on the generic ‘superpowers’ story. The characters are generally funny and interesting, as well.
I like Larissa already, and I wonder why she’s not showing on the relationship tracker.

Cheers for the praise! Larissa will definitely be on the tracker. I just hadn’t put it in before my deadline to upload the update. She’s one of the romance options for both guys and girls so there’s no way she’s avoiding the relationship tracker. Glad you are enjoying the characters and soda as well as my choice to go with description over bars. Bars just seem more gamey to me and what I’m going for is a lot more story focused than game focused.
You shall see Larissa on the relationship tracker in the next update. Promise.

Aaaaaand before my thread gets locked here’s a small update. Wish I could get more done but this is what I have for now. Chapter two is close to finished. Still no choice to eat the cinnamon rolls! I swear I’ll do it eventually! It’s super easy to do too.
Edit: Oooh also, it’d be neat to see how long it takes people to read. If anyone’s up to time themselves as they go through that’d be cool.
