I have completed (a first draft) of my game, In the Halls of Asgard. In it, you play a Norse God trying to survive in Asgard, and preparing for Ragnarök.
It’s almost done for now, although I will make changes based on the feedback I get.

Cool game and all but it’s too much fast-paced and I will like character customization and gender choice and a backstory for the MC and can you add more options to solve problems then being with with no solution because of our domain or not having the item necessary to solve the problem

Well what I mean is it restrict the player choice because they domain they chose like when we look for Thor hammer you have to be the dream or animal God to find the Hammer like I would have liked it that god of death would have had threaten the giant or the mc has high magic do some kind of spell etc and hey I have no problem with character customization being at minimal like giving us a choice what gender we are and what colour are hair and the colour of our eyes also I would appreciate if the romance options were highlighted with a heart and also when I choose to confront Odin it say it does not exist and kick out here is the picture
the god of death mc should be capable of taking Fenrir away with him to be with his dog in Helheim

I think I prefer having those restrictions, because otherwise the domain is superfluous. Does that make sense?
There are no romance options, because I am ace, and I feel deeply uncomfortable writing them.

I was keeping tally of which character you are closest to. But you are right. Now that I think of it, that is a bad design. I will remove it.

This is cool and fits right in my alley, only thing i’ll say is it’s a bit too fast paste could benefit from making the events a bit longer and not locking certain events behind skill checks

Exactly also about the romance you don’t have to include sex or whatever if you are uncomfortable you know what I do not know what you are uncomfortable with can you tell me in detail
I am uncomfortable with romance in general, and I certainly wouldn’t know how to write it.

Yeah i think more choices to less important events could definitely be helpful adds more flavor to the story too.
and about the whole fast paste thing that i said it’s my personal opinion but it really depends on the story you’re making, if your primarily making the story short then yeah the route you’re going is pretty appropriate i think
Also can we get the option when low-key visit us Thor coming destroying parts of our home can we go out and be disgruntled and say okay you have one fucking chance to explain why the fuck are you destroying my home before I wreck your shit for it having different reactions from Thor especially from the god of death mc

Also can you Focus the storytelling around the root which is like the god of death is more powerful and more respected like you wrote and the God of dreams taking seriously when he does prediction and the same goes for other MCs and Loki daughter have more screen time with the god of death and especially the god of death dog
