I’ve been trying to wrap my head around something for a while now.
Where exactly do Sects fall in the governmental/organizational scheme of the country?
Like are they private organizations like like private companies we have today or would they function more like schools/Universities with public funding and backing?
And what about the Havoc Sect? Are they not considered criminals?They seem to be pretty lawless and considering the Demon Queen attacks our Clan if we kill her son I can’t belive they did so with any official backing from the emperor? And what about when a war breaks out can the emeperor call on the sects to fight for him? Can sects forbid their members from participating? Could the Havoc Sect side with the Song/Zhong Clan?

I mean that’s a good portion of the cast and small price to pay for salvation.
Honestly the monogamy just means I get less reason not to kill people, which is good because then I get more power. Gotta look on the bright side.

All the people complaining about no harem getting hit with the reality of two things:

Turns out some people are not in fact ok with their lover banging other people on the side, and just want a monogamous relationship

Some authors are not in fact into or feel comfortable with polygamy

I agree with you, but I think one of the main reasons most authors don’t use non-monogamous relationships is because it would be MUCH harder to write (and of course if you want GOOD writing)

Eh. Not really. Killing NPCs was always something of a net positive for the MC even before the TW revelation, if you throw morality to the wayside and not give a shit about other characters.
All the revelation does is make the benefits go from “They go away” to “I get shiny”.
Like, if you’re cool killing the other characters for power, it would’ve happened eventually anyway, even without the revelation.

Didn’t say it was needed for cultivating,I said there was no way you wouldn’t kill someone along the way like during a war.

I “make sure” my MC has no enemies too. I believe in super peace after all and Yang helps with that.
Can’t believe I have to do a training arc to fulfill my bardic ambition.
To be honest, the author already said that in this world the strong dominate the weak so it makes perfect sense that a murderous and bad MC in general has more benefits and that’s why I play with a kind MC because he wins by being equal to everyone It’s easy, but winning by being unique is more badass

If you want harem with martial arts I recommend Aura Clash. Its has a class sytem where you can be a ninja, samurai, or brawler. And more importantly you can actually win fights without plot getting on the way.
