I disagree, from TW’s story apparently he wasn’t kicked out for being too strong, but for trying to resurrect his wife so it probably doesn’t matter how strong you are but if you disobey heaven and break its rules

Aside from the fact that we were explicitly told by tang Wei that we should treat everyone like dead meat to get where we want to be and since they are more valuable as qi strands,we could offer them a better alternative for them to keep themselves alive

I’m not talking about TW’s punishment that’s a different matter.If MC get to Nascent soul he will be kicked out it’s not a Bad thing you ascend to a greater realm it’s just how the realms work.
Tang Wei is a depressed shut in who put himself through thousands of years of torturous isolation following this exact logic. I wouldn’t take his “advice” as gospel. (Also genocide bad)

I’m not even sure it was explicitly stated that you couldn’t return to your previous world cause you advanced to a new stage,it seemed like a “here’s your ticket to continue your Martial path” rather than a “woah, woah woah you’re too strong for this place so get out! I order you!”
Cause it would make no sense to kick someone out for a being too strong when tang Wei who the heavens could keep in check was allowed to stay there while being overwhelmingly past the level of power allowed there

The game is called path of Martial arts not path of romance. He was just laying down the obvious way to reach the top.
Whether he was a depressed shut in or not,it would be delusional to think that the mc won’t unalive someone to become a god.
It just depends on who you believe is worth leaving alive or not.

Why would it be delusional? Didn’t the author explicitly say in the QnA that you can still advance by collecting qi stones? Also, in my playthrough, Tang Wei said he was interested in my MC’s kindness, so though the convo likely changes depending on MCs’ traits, I would say playing a merciful MC is in fact seen as a viable option by the author.
If Tang Wei’s not lying about everything, him remembering his past before godhood left him feeling empty about his whole genocide plan–hence why he ostensibly gives up. So to me, it makes no narrative sense for MCs to be railroaded into killing ROs and innocents just to chase after that same godhood.

I never cared about an harem,I love the Ros in a monogamous relationship. And I definitely know that we can’t change the authors mindset about adding poly romance. I just thought it would be nice to see an harem be a trade for sparing the Ros life in a scenario where we needed more qi strands.
