The thing is MC isn’t a “God” he’s just the réincarnation of one not even a reincarnation since cultivator doesn’t reincarnate he’s more of an anomaly something that TW said.And even at Book 3 he won’t be nowhere near TW’s level he won’t be a god and someone like Ruo can still handle him.So there is not a difference in status and if MC become a god it’ll be in 100.000years or something,so the ROs are relatively equal to them especially Ruo who is special and even TW outlines something like that.So MC can just says whatever he want it’ll just be an ego trip and the RO will always say “Nah I’m good” in case of a hypothetical harem ultimatum.

Tang Wei specifically remakes MC’s body to be like his own and feed them his own blood instead of the tainted bullshit everyone else runs with, to allow them absorb qi and perform proper cultivation. They’re unlike any other person in the realm.
They’re also a (last) heir of not just one but two great clans. Very few people can boast this, even Mei Mei is just second young mistress to her clan. Out of available ROs the only person who is currently higher on the social ladder is Tang Ruo.
So talking that there’s no difference in status, i think this is basically just turning a blind eye to the reality of the setting.
(this isn’t to say “and that should totally make the ROs accept being part of the harem”, merely to argue the supposed equality, which just isn’t the case)

Actually MC’s body is not like TW given that for TW body doesn’t matter.He just gifted a strong cultivator body which is useless without qi and in a PoMa’s World it’s a weakness.And Wu clan is a great clan only on paper the only reason Wu clan is still alive it’s because Big boss Yichen decided to.So Mei would be a better match for MC than MC is ,and as you can see nobody wants to marry MC in particular because Wu clan is poorer than a minor clan.So yea there is difference in status but it doesn’t matter all that matters is strength and even Book 3 MC can’t is not so overwhelmingly strong that he can have his harem of ROs.He can have a Harem of nobodies but it’s not going to be the ROs since each one of them is too special for that and MC won’t be so overwhelmingly celestial that he can just say “I’ll take other partners because I want to”
Tang Wei specifically planned to take over body of one of his clones and leave his damaged and wounded old body behind. So it seems that it’s definitely not something that doesn’t matter to him.
I’d say it’s also anything but weakness if it allows the person to advance in power by two stages in literally few days (something which takes other people years and decades) provided you get the fuel for it, and the world is full of walking bags of said fuel created by your original self for this very purpose.
I mean, the way the narrative is going, MC will now advance to Peak Houtian in mere 6 months. That is another two stages. Again, something pretty much unheard off.
How do you figure it’s not TW’s body? Because it seems to me that TW very much makes it the same like his – same physiology and it possesses the same “Martial Sovereign” physique. The MC isn’t on the power level of TW, but its’ something they can address at much faster rate than anyone else in the world, short of maybe Tang Ruo if he manages to finish his development (but even if he does, his physique is apparently inferior which might hold him back)

When I said body doesn’t matter I meant that the body that the MC has isn’t “godly” it’s not TW’s body so it won’t be a criteria of absolute superiority for MC.
I agree MC’s talent is unpredecented but it will also is dangerous for MC if someone knows about his situation and again Ruo will always match MC until the end or at least rival him
That’s fine, but it should be noted that Tang Ruo is a pretty much singular exception here. The other ROs are nowhere near his prowess nor status, so it’s not very sensible to use him as justification why all other ROs would be just as full of themselves as he is.
Potahto, potato. I’m sorry but i just don’t see any justification for Tigress or Ai to place themselves equal with the Celestial Emperor in terms of pride that wouldn’t be simply [the case of] said pride being excessive and --at least currently-- very much unfounded.

Mei Mei is a genius alchemist who managed to make pills and potions that not even her master (who is hundreds of years old) could

Any of The Ros except from Tang ruo would probably end up being the nobodies in the mcs harem cause shangtian is basically fodder compared to the heights the mc is going to scale and if the Ros aside from Tang ruo tried making demand considering the harem while knowing that the mc is the only with the ability to help them reach greater Martial heights,my mc would be happy to use them as qi strands😁

It’s not excessive pride to refuse to be in a harem just common self-respect.They do not need to have Ruo’s pride for that.And again at the end of the day only power (which Come in multiple forms matter).If they’re Shangtian there is no reason to be in the harem of anyone except desperate love maybe.

It was obvious that the only reason the heavens did that to tang Wei was because he tried entering the underworld when he wasn’t yet worthy of defying the heavens, the mc can easily avoid that😃

I honestly don’t know why we are discussing this since the author probably won’t implement the harem for the sake of the story and for the sake of the writing, but since we are discussing this I think Mei Mei could be equivalent to the MC not because of her ability in fights but rather for his knowledge and legendary abilities in creating poisons

I do fear Mei Mei cause I fell for her pheonix antidote in my first playthrough…
I think she is the same level of cunningness as the little demon queen and I see her reaching shangtian but I don’t give 2fs about tang ruo and xiwen but even if ai and tigress reached shangtian,I don’t see any of the ros except tang ruo progressing past shangtian without the mcs help not to even talk of being the mcs equal but no need to force an harem on them anyways,i won’t reject a bunch more qi strands😇

I think we will soon get the option to start ending people anyways so Mei mei is top of my list before she gets to much resources and since long Chen is on her ass in my playthrough, she will easily be taken care of before she even reaches xiantian
