This new demo has taken a darker turn but it’s interesting to see where it goes from here.

The protag gives off witcher vibes and the universe is a mix of goblin slayer and industrial.
Think of jack the ripper meets goblin slayer.

Gives a “Our apologies; there was a 404 error while loading game data.” when trying to go to chapter 1, after the vampires. Tried a few times.

Industrial age have guns and cannon already pretty advanced like bolt action rifle.

Yeah industrial age in some countries mixed with magic and mythical creatures. The city in the prologue was industrial heavy while the country youre going to is a balance of both.

I’ve gotta say the beginning of chapter one has some inconsistencies for example in the prologue it said those bandits wanted the mc’s spear but then you say it’s worn from countless battles in chapter one. Why would bandits want some battle worn weapon it would be worthless to them?

Its a spear from a dragoon, costs a fortune to have especially battle worn.
Spears in this universe are increasingly rare after the dragoon’s rise and only dragoons were masters at using it. So the only spears left were likely used by a dragoon.
So its actually consistent. One of those lore dumps that I havent inplemented yet.

I could be wrong but I’m pretty sure the Mc is a true dragon. In alot of fantasy settings dragons have the ability to polymorph you see it alot in manga/anime and D&D. I think the case here is that our Mc chose to take human form in order to use superior numbers to have a better chance of killing other dragons
