Yea

Funny idea, could we take over Portugal?

You said we could take a lover that wasn’t our wife but will the options only be women or will there be an option to romance a man?

Portugal: I gonna colonize you!

I’ll soon release a little update with the early parts of the first chapter, I just have a question that require your vote.

Should I keep the name of the variable as “Absolutist” or change it to “Authoritarian”?

Authoritarian gives more of the ideia of facist or military junta in goverment for me. I prefer absolutist. But that’s just personal thing, in pratice there is no diference I think.

So will we get to make alliances with the USA and the British Empire?

Can you give us some examples of what kind of policies we will be able to pursue?

So I watched a video and i did some research into this, after the American civil war will we have an active role in the forming of Americana?

I believe that this game is based on the history of Brazil so I don’t think we will have as much influence in other countries

Perhaps, but the idea of a more successful Brazil acting on it’s own counter Monroe Doctrine would be an excellent alt history.

Americana is actually a real city in Brazil that was helped founded by former confederate soldiers who left the US after the civil war, so i was wondering if we could influence that event or maybe change it?

Its difficult to guess since the writer is still working on it so he might have some ideas. One thing i can state because realism is a thing that may apply. Is that if you abolish slavery earlier then the USA which is a possibility, the confederates may flee somewhere else especially as if you are going down that path. It means you are most likely following OTL’s path post slavery abolishion and republican age were Brasil attempts to create a multiethnic multicultural nationality.
and talking as a Brasilian this road has a lot of holes because boy was it not smooth sailing… To this day honestly.

Now if you wanna go down the confederate route it means you are following either OTL’s empire path were you abolish rather late. But possibly not dead last like we did or worse of all you may not abolish it all and keep things steady even if realisticaly speaking. Means industrialisation would probably not root itself. Say whatever you want about how industrialisation may still occur but one thing that seems common in slaver societies is that they generally have traits that slow down or halt industrialisation. Meaning that the Brasil you make will remain a agricultural 3rd world nation were poverty is dominant.

I had already asked about slavery before and the author replied that the abolition of slavery will always happen but we can make it take longer to happen (maybe we can even be the last country to abolish slavery)

Brasil already was the last country in the americas to abolish slavery so effectively the OTL timeline. Now if you mean the world i don’t think the story will go the 1950’s unless Dom Pedro somehow manages to make a throne that allows him to stay half alive and half dead.

It’d be great if Brazil can stay still as a Monarchy instead a republic in this game
