EDGES OF WINTER

Can you make it to the Olympics as an alpine skier?

Balance your training, relationships, sponsors, and public image, whilst under intense pressure as you are tested to your limits whilst hurtling down an icy track!

Sounds great!? Now can you do it with a sinister past intent on catching up with you? And when you come to the very edge, who will you save and who will you sacrifice?

Synopsis

Stranded on a mountainside during a blizzard with someone from your past, you must make life and death decisions, they won’t be easy, and as you reminisce over your childhood, and over every choice you made back then, how will that shape your actions now.

In amongst the training sessions and ski races, something is following you, how will you handle it as it comes into the light? What will that mean for your career? How will you win?

Features

These features are not all currently available but are planned.

  • Selectable sex, gender, orientation at multiple points throughout the game
  • Romance options (in later chapters)
  • Develop an Alpine Skiing career, enter races, manage sponsors, form a public image
  • Interactive ski races, pick a strategy, react to events, measure yourself against the other competitors
  • Interact with your past, as it starts to catch up with you

Always appreciated, and I’m sure they won’t be the last!

It’s an experimental way of presenting the player’s height and weight in a chart format. As the early sequencing of the story follows you in intervals from age 7 until 18, there will be regular ‘assessments’ where you can pick your height and weight. It’s not hugely important, I just wanted to test it out :slight_smile: But I agree it does look awkward on mobile!
