(WIP) Broken Fable [220k Public, Updated 5/7/24]

You should have Arthur be of cornish/welsh descent instead of english in the stats page; it fits better with his mythos.

the god of war is a title she received for helping gilgamesh in the wars, it has nothing to do with her fighting technique since she ended everything with her speed, in addition she already has one of the most balanced stats, and a little different from sun and Arthur who trained their whole lives, but the author has already said that we will be able to evolve and increase our stats

She had the title before she met him.

I said Gilgamesh because I don’t remember the citizen’s name but she earned the title for being strong and helping in wars, that’s why she starts with 2 in power

Do your stats affect Yoru’s training in any way? On my first playthrough, I thought my MC (Arthur) was bettter fit to teach Yoru on Musashi’s style due to his high technique stat, while an intellect and power focused MCs would be more on their element when teaching her Vlad’s and Richard’s styles, respectively. Is that an actual thing or am I just imagining things?

None of the myths in game are like the real ones.

Why is my reply in your message Spanish? Or is that French?

in Portuguese I don’t know why

This.

As @DrDense says:

Enjoy the myths as told in this story for what they are.

He’s still not english in-game, but cornish. It should be a relevant difference for a man that literally fought against anglo-saxon ocupation.

She earnt it by defending the people of Uruk. I don’t think it really matters how she did it. My suggestion was aimed at bringing the character more in line with a reader’s expectations, since one would expect someone described as a goddess of war to be one of the better fighters.

but she doesn’t and she doesn’t? she humiliates everyone in the fight and even showed that she knew how to use a spear better than the guy who has been training for years.
Lucifer has lived his whole life fighting demons, but he also only has 1 in technique, technique and more about training so Arthur and sun have higher.

I’m talking about the other origins. People presumably pick based on what type of character they want to play. If they want to play a skilled fighter, they could easily assume that to be Ishtar’s thing, only for her to have a different specialisation. I’m not saying she should be the best, just that she should be higher than she is now.

all MCs will evolve and become stronger and more technical in the future

That’s not really my point. I’m talking about the base archetypes. If you pick the shapeshifter, you expect them to shapeshift. If you pick the guy with a magical sword, you expect him to use a magical sword. If you pick the warrior goddess, you expect her to be a skilled warrior.

To be fair, literally all of the MC types are a bit rusty. They’ve been avoiding this kinda thing for a long ass time. Ishtar straight up laments on how rusty her spear wielding abilities are before taking Hans’ weapon for herself. Also, she literally handed them their ass.

Lucifer falls in a similar-ish boat. The age dates roughly back to the founding of Judaism, but when asked about the holy texts, Lucifer responds that it was likely a post-cognitive drawing inspiration from their life, which implies that the events completely unfolded prior to the book being written. So Lucifer would definitively be older, but who knows how much so.

(im very angery cause im trina send some typos i found but it wont upload correctly which is frustrating)

Different universe, so it could easily be explained away as the major religions began around myths involving Lucy’s good old Pa and his sudden “disappearance.” We have the angels, hell, paradise among dunes, and a lucifer-lead rebellion.
