Its pretty clear that if we fight Timur now, MC will get their ass beat. So what do you think will be the unique training arcs for the different MCs?
Or his spear gungnir
The damn second I saw the origins I was immediately hooked, hell yeah!
I see those ‘tech’ options
but we don’t have ‘tech’ in stats:
That’s technique/finesse.
it is a bit confusing to have them called differently in stats and in choices
Wukong is the most obvious. Mastering the Buddha’s powers and removing the restriction on our own.
Arthur probably works through coming to peace with Excalibur and fully merging its bloodlust to our will. Bonus points if we somehow circle back to the dangling plot point of Miyamoto Musashi being a better swordsman.
Janus might pull a Doctor Strange with looking ahead to the futures where we win and manipulating events to make it happen.
Zeus might have a Saturday morning realization that the true power inside all along, break the Ambrosia addiction, and become more powerful than ever.
No ideas for the rest of them, though.
Or zeus could just take a second dose and become god before he goes insane from withdrawal. Edit : although i imagine that option will be a last resort
I can’t imagine Lucifer’s power up being from anything pleasant, considering how they got a boost last time. My guess for them is either finding a way back into hell and snacking on whatever demons are left there, or crossing the line and devouring humans. Maybe the augmented wannabes Eris is making.
Who do you all think has the most brutal fight with Kaya/Hans/Alyosha? I’d argue Lucifer simply because of the mind fuckery he employs.
Aloysha got pretty wrecked by Pele, and Hans got the Thanos snap
Man.
I just found this just today and absolutely lost it seeing the options to play as Zeus and Wukong.
My excitement is of biblical proportions.
Especially for wukong.
I kinda wonder, how much more powerful would each Fable be after losing their weakness?
The answer to that would be extremely powerful, each fable here is basically incomplete or get stuck on something, relief of that burden would be huge help.
Well, in that respect, how would that help Zeus? He’s just an addict, he has full control of his power, unlike some Fables, and doesn’t have a limiter.
I may be misremembering, but doesn’t use of their powers increase Zeus’ desire for the ambrosia or make them weaker until they consume it?
Let Zeus think clearer and less crazy, with substance wrecking the body and brain one can lose the grand design.
Can be like Kratos and be like AWRRR ZUUUUSSS!!!??
You have to define” brutal”. I would say both Lucifer and Janus are the less brutal. Lucifer first because he ended it before it began. Janus second because control chaos. The most damaging brutal fight would be Pele, Zeus, then Arthur.
Probably already talked about but since Arthur only recovered Excalibur in the 1940s does that mean that Timur has never seen him with said blade and only faces him when he had a ‘normal’ sword?
