strength, not straight

Her eyes keep meeting yours, only to dark back to the ground

only to DART back to the ground

W mods, we kinda gone a bit too far there my bad

When meeting yurui in the begining there an error :

“… Fine,” Yurui similes as you continue, “But why did you imply there was a dress code?”

That’s not an error.

You are the one saying “…Fine,” and you are also the one saying “But why did you imply there was a dress code?”.

Yurui is smiling as YOU continue and finish your sentence.

i do not wish to fight my friends
this thread too many fights contends
so in a rhyme, a truth i’ll tell
in hopes that you will take it well

a smile is not a simile
spelled alike though they may be
one compares by quality
the other lights a facial glee

the simile: “I liken thee!
foot smell sweetlee as the cheese!”
if foot like cheese do smell so sweet
a smile your face perhaps may meet

typos in this place abound
in time, perhaps, they all be found
to proofread is a weighty task
in which we all pitch in, i ask

we can be proofreading friends
and know all writing has odd ends
whatever writ was ever wrought
plenty errors in it brought

and we too will commit again
all strive to ‘flawless’ is in vain
mankind will err forever oft
and so, let’s hold our feet aloft

their cheesy smell brighten the air
be kind, my friends, be kind and fair

The most likely outcome is that the claims of the Praetorium about our character and Attila’s origins would be dismissed as propaganda or nonsense, and that they would lose influence on the global stage.

I can see the headlines.

“Superpowered madman slaughters India! Head of the Praetorium suffers metal breakdown and raves about Attila the Hun and Satan!”

Ohohohohoho, i am extremely upset that I’m only finding this now. This WIP, in my personal opinion has what it takes to be in like the top 5 best games I’ve played from CoG and HG.

When I first read the title, and saw “fables” in it, i was expecting something more along the lines of fairy tales; little red or other stuff. Only to be greatly suprised that it was even better.

Lucifer i sorta saw coming, but the way their past was, was refreshingly different. I look forward to seeing what else their history has ((if were able to get more info on it, i mean)).

Everyone else, other than Zeus i dont think i saw coming before getting to the options. Ishtar, Pele, Janus, Sun and Arthur are a great line up.

My favorites are probably Pele and Ishtar. I am a little suprised that most of the hype in Ishtar is her flight, though. Granted, you still wrote all of her combat so well that i lost all negative thoughts on it.

Zeus, though…his history to me is weird? I mean, i know all the characters say “Yeah, most of our legends are reeeeeeally not accurate”. But Zeus’ is so far from any of his “real” lore that i was confused. One sibling(?) Father with no name and pretty much blows up his home. Not to mention his brother is “Ares”? I 'unno. Just felt a little way out there.

That aside, there are a few typos. Think i saw maybe four? Which, im sure will get fixed ((i honestly cant recall where they were)). And they were just some words that should have either been plural, or had a letter missing.

Anyway, 10/10. I highly recommend anyone reading through the comments first before playing, or anyone who has played to try every character choice.

Unfortunately not as its stated in after selecting that it is not possible for a woman to become the ruler of Rome.

I know it’s a bit off topic, but on a whim I started writing the thoughts of my MCs with the emotions of inside out… And I came up with this meme.

Tamurlane’s pretty much accurate. He really did order his men to behead every living thing once in a city. The heads created a tower of skulls. He also defeated the Delhi Sultanate and conquered India. But he was lame. His arm and leg didn’t work after being shot with arrows when he was a kid. I wonder if there will be a special interaction between Sumeirah and Timur. He thought he had a badass title, but everyone called him Timur, The Lame. Pun intended.

Unless stated otherwise, I will hc that Sun Wukong made up that name for him as a diss

Well eventually it’s down to personal taste, I like Ishtar because her story is rarely used for something like this, there is plenty of King Arthur story already and being from Asia I am familiar with Journey to the west, Zeus and Lucifer also somewhat used pretty often so that leave 3 that stand out.

Janus, Ishtar and Pele and among the three I like Ishtar the most probably because her fight scene kinda like dragon ball fight

Yeah his real name is Tamurlane. So yeah, the pun is very much intended.

I wish Arthur and Ishtar were gender selectable. What’s the point honestly? The MC’s gender barley matters in anything, and doesn’t even affect the dialogue and the pronouns are sometimes wrong.

Well arthur probably can be either man or woman but Ishtar should be Female, unless you swap Gilgamesh as female for it to complement Male Ishtar, it’s complicated the backstory not to mention her story with Gilgamesh.

That’s rewriting the opening chapter all over again.

I think Author make both Arthur and Ishtar gender specific to balance each other which I think it’s fair.

…Or we could leave the characters as they are and stop trying to throw more work the authors way. They’ve already provided more variety than a lot of authors out there.

Absolute brilliant statement

Unless you’re that annoying guy that won’t shut the fuck up about the author doing DLCs or a rewrite with their ideas in mind :unamused:

Pele in the story fight a steam guy without a problem, maybe it was a fog guy. Also volcano tend to release fog, steam and gaz.

With enough water, lava of a volcano can be cool down. But the ultimate weakness of pele i think is time. At some point a volcano has to cool down.

@ChaosBringerXV

i think readers are caught in the imagination of characters that have unlimited augment power and can stop themself. Comicon, marvel or detective comic

The authors will choose the story to tell and let people take what they want from it.
