Sword surfing? Damn, the more I read about Arthur the more fun his play seems to be!

Yeah she ca’ be healed and stuff but suddenly becoming a fox girl is too animeish and kind of froze me from the game… Will wait for updates but yeah it really threw me off balance lol

Personally it makes a lot of sense to me though. This game is basically talking about mythical beings being real and considering there are tales about fox spirits in multiple countries sort of lines up to the story

Agreed. It’s not '“animeish”, it’s just part of the Japanese Mythology in that case. And it’s far from the most outlandish thing when we have genderbent Zeus, Pele, Attila and more.

I liked the idea to train Yoru to make her strong but now she don’t need MC anymore, she jumped from being the weakest to being one of the strongest in one night.

She still very much needs the MC and i would argue she needs them even more now.

Maybe as a friend but not as guardian,I just think she becomed to powerful too fast.

That very statement is why she still needs the MC as guardian/trainer to powerful to fast and with her temperment leading up to things we have seen makes for a deadly combination.

Pele is the only fable that loses, so it’s probably best if we never fight him.

I mean, if Pele can turn hot enough to evaporate human beings, i think they would be fine agaisnt the water guy

Well, it was the author who said that Pele loses against Jordan

I still can’t see that unless Jordan gets the drop on them. I feel Jordan’s grandfather is the only water user who might be a threat to Pele even if they were emitting heat comparable to the Earth’s core since fighting against someone who can conjure up a Tsunami big enough to drown a city is crazy. The only way Pele could evaporate all of that water is either going Thermonuclear or Supernova. And that feels very possible for them.

Jordan is more powerful than his grandpa who destroyed China and parts of Mongolia. If his power can exceed that then he can definitely take on Pele.

Did they say that? I don’t remember them mentioning that in-game. And if so, how do we know they were telling the truth? What if they had exaggerated a little since he’s a praetor?

I personally don’t buy that, but either way Jordan should be able to handle Pele, he’s still the most powerful water user going up against a goddess specifically weak to water on a spiritual level.

From Chapter 1 if the interview is to be believed

Could be propaganda as you say but it’s not completely unbelievable either

I’m firmly in the “Jordan would only win if he got the drop on Pele” camp. It doesn’t matter how much water numb nuts can control, all Pele has to do is crank up the heat just to the point that the water evaporates if it gets anywhere close to her. Pele can become only slightly less hot then the Earth’s core so Jordan wouldn’t even be able to get close enough to launch any precision attacks and could only launch huge floods against area, which again, Pele can easily deal with just be growing hot enough.

And remember. Unlike other fire users who has to wear protective clothing sometimes to offset the heat they’re experiencing or their own attacks, Pele is literally magma incarnate so no matter how hot they get, they’ll be fine and won’t suffer damage from their own or other fire type attacks. And even if Jordan do manages to somehow fight Pele. They won’t be able to last long when fighting in a area that’s basically a heatwave + volcanic heat. They’ll dry up fast fighting like that. And if they conjure up some water to try and cool down the area, they’ll just be making a sauna instead depending on how hot it is.

Now that I think about it again. The only Fable I think can do lasting damages to Timur or probably make their regenerative ability hell for them are Pele and Lucifer. Lucifer for obvious reasons but if Pele starts going nuclear again and keep cranking up the heat. Even someone with strong regenerative abilities like Timur would be kept down for a long time since it would be almost impossible to regenerate in a area that’s basically a planet’s core at that point. Also, it would be extremely painful for them when they’re stuck like that. It would only be a problem if he manages to get an augment that makes him immune to heat or fire. As long as it’s “resistance” and not “immunity”, Pele can blast through that eventually.

always find these things funny, author literally says only pele would lose, but people will try to downplay it and says he only loses on a certain condition lol
