(WIP) Aura Clash SFW Discussion [466k Words (624k Patreon) | Eastern Fantasy | Adventure | Martial Arts]

Ah yes, nothing more romantic than beating up a lady, spitting on her (twice), calling her a mutt, and making her cry :skull:

The fact that this sequence of events increases Fang’s romance levels… Mr Author, do we need to take best wolf-gurl to a therapist before the Trials begin?

do we need to take best wolf-gurl to a therapist before the Trials begin?

Absolutely. In honesty I gave Tian Fang a mix of sweet&innocent and a competitive edge as she was the best where she came from and isn’t used to someone being better than her. If memory serves in the code Leona cranks that to 11 and Desdemona isn’t into it. I’ve been keeping track of disposition as well though behind the scenes so even if some rival actions make them into you more, it’s not going to be negated by them straight up disliking you.

Though that’s an interesting idea for a sequel or different character, actually getting an odd sort of success in some situation from hating each other. Not the same success as liking each other, but a different one. I think Dragon Age 2 tried that.

Gotta assert dominance. Fang seems more beast than human. She probably goes by pack rules. Which would make this scene make sense. At least to me.

Side note: @fsix how do you get this scene?

She freaky

Also sorry to ask this again but does Fuel foundation do anything for gameplay?

No, because it is the foundation that the MC has since its first evolution

At the end of chapter 3 when the storm gate opens you face Fang there, and have option to either cooperate with her, or fight for the access. If you fight and win, this is one of options you can take in the interaction with Fang after you’re done sucking the gate dry.

And yeah, i imagine Fang’s bestial part is responsible there for the subby streak. /s

I’ve decided that merchant is the best background, and as of now Bladed is the best style… even though they dont synergize. Although… $$$ (merchant) synergizes with all styles.

Just finished a run with Mortal foundation where I still got over 1150 AP by the end with this combo.

Technically, it’s responsible for the amount of AP you get from the gates (people without this foundation apparently get less) and for getting all your resources restored when you enter one. But since you always have it, you don’t actually see the level of impact it has. Although it’s allegedly pretty minor.

Yes, but even when we don’t share it the amount you extract isn’t all that large (about 100 AP with multiple other benefits, 50 or so without) so i can’t imagine the difference is that great for people without this foundation. The gates would be kind of worthless if they got significantly less on top of having to share with other people.

Allegedly minor for individuals who share gates… but we never seem to share.

There is diminishing returns, so while you get ~55 solo sometimes you’d get 15-20 in a group and the rest would get 10-12. Gates are a huge deal however. Scoring 3 more Gates than your rival Sect ( about +33 AP) means about 1/3 of your Sect has an extra Core more than your enemy does. It’s not a godly buff like MC uses them for but it’s 1-2 months of training progress, each, in a single day. Especially for Upper Disciples who hit mortal limits, they’re invaluable.

Certainly enough to decide who loses a war and who wins, especially because there are fights AT the Gate much of the time to see who gets it. The victor heals faster and strengthens, the loser marches home while injured.

If we spend too much time with fang and we’re a yokai is there a chance we’ll get her feral disease? I’d be ok with that seems dangerous but useful

Leona (crazy sadist who likes to fight and has a strange lust for swords)
Dai Guiren (ninja lizard who is also a loan shark)
Lady Desdemona (tsundere cult leader who can’t take two steps without getting lost)
Tian Fang (beautiful wolf who eats a lot and seems to enjoy being beaten and humiliated)
Angelo (literally Jesus Christ)
Kosuke(kleptomaniac childhood friend who might be as strong as you)
I have to admit that when it comes to ROs the author is brilliant and very creative

Honestly, you’d have to play really, really bad for Kosuke to be as strong as you. I mean, this is Kosuke in Chapter 5:

Yes, but it’s still not going to do much:

	*if not (kosukeaura)
		*set val 80 + (kosukecombat * 27)
		Aura Pressure: ${val}
	*else
		*set val 110 + (kosukecombat * 31)
		Aura Pressure: ${val}

To get in 500s you’d need kosukecombat to be 13+ and to get there, you’d have to basically devote the whole year to nothing but strengthening them. The game itself doesn’t expect Kosuke’s stats to be much higher than 300 and doesn’t check past that.

And even if you get them to ~500 that’s still roughly half of where MC can be.

her power depends on your choices (I don’t remember how but I once had her power reach 500)There were people on this forum whose MC has already reached 1200 AP but the normal thing is for the MC to have 800 AP taking this into account
and since I never did everything possible with Kosuke I wouldn’t be surprised if she managed to get close or even reach 800

Well I know what I’m gonna do next update playthrough. I gotta beat fang show her who the alpha is lmfao. This game is wild. I love it.

It’d require their combat variable to get to 23+ which, in theory, is doable if you could afford to gift them weighted clothing for each of 6 sessions (on top of prioritizing them earlier) In fact, if you coupled that with weighted clothing for yourself it’d give pretty crazy AP gain also for MC (at the cost of 450 or so crystal shards total between both of you) so it might be a pretty good strategy, all things considered. It’d mean relatively undeveloped skillset and leaving your siblings very much defenseless, though.

Never mind, i forgot training with Kosuke is one-time thing. So no, there’s not enough instances of improving their combat variable to get there (you can get max +6 in chapter 3, between training them, teaching them barrier and assigning them as store guard. +3-4 in mission for chapter 2, and +3 in chapter 2 proper. And +1 in chapter 1, so that’d be 13-14 max) Seems they’d peak at 550 or so by chapter 4, although you can get advance them a bit further afterwards.

If we do that, she will end up getting lost and we will never find her again
