But you get such a nice scene when fighting the lightbringer if you have ice and darkness, so the crest buffs can go weep in the corner. Because my Mcs prefers to look cool, rather than practical. And if anon punishes my mc for it so be it.
He should just watch how sleeps at night I might send a spider to crawl into his ear, or a roach even nuhahaha.
Ehh, i was perfectly satisfied with just darkness and Kurokonton, it’s basically never-ending stream of special events and buffs that makes the light fish look like pathetic joke.
You can give kosuke a weapon in chapter 6 after siding with the pirates. So far, that’s the only instance I’ve seen where we can give her the sword she’s been asking for.
I’d like it if we can craft a weak soul treasure weapon during the free roam in chapter 6 and have the opportunity to give kosuke a sword on the way to nanhou if we choose train her.
Yeah there’s no way I’m giving any of these bozos a named weapon of all things. You know what that will get me? +1 Kosuke Combat and a weapon that’ll never get mentioned ever again
That actually does remind me that she actually asks if she could get a weapon that you personally craft as a blacksmith in the Sword Style path after doing the deed with Leona.
So…seeing as you slept with Leona which, by the way, not as insecure about that as you’d think because I’ve seen her butt and mine’s nicer, but I want a sword when we get to Nanhou. A good one, Soul Treasure and all. Bonus points if you make it yourself, mister blacksmith." She punches you in the arm playfully. “Deal?”
Which honestly makes me wonder if this is going to be a thing that we can do later. Crafting weapons to give them to our allies in order to boost their combat capabilities and power.
It would also be pretty neat if we could do something with the Memorywell Elixir that we can keep in our inventory if we do choose to obtain it even though it has no use for the MC. Like maybe…giving it to one of our siblings, or even give it to Kosuke. Having them unlock their element mastery would be cool.
In chapter 5, if you get the darkness element from the gate then it’s put in element2 even if you don’t have anything in element1, which is a problem if you specifically don’t get an element up to that point so that it can go in the Yin slot.
I think that the crest of elemental yin and yang are a bit bugged, I just equipped and unequipped them a few times and my chipool is now -3 and I think I lost a soul core.
Might have something to do with me equipping the crest of elemental yin first then yang then unequipping and reequipping yin. If it didn’t check for yin when equipping yang but checked for yang when unequipping yin then i think that would explain it.
So, a bit of a niche ask but, will you ever consider the possibility of adding some sort of “romance points” toggle, as in display which option will end up adding romance points for ROs? Or just a option to straight up disable romance for certain ROs?
Cause I got bamboozled by a kiss from Desdemona without knowing why since I didn’t pick any of the obviously flirtatious options only to find out that I’ve accidentally accumulated points for her by picking some seemingly random options that didn’t ring flirty at all, such as making a joke by pretending to be racist towards yokai and imagining puppies during kiihakai training.
Poking around the code a bit more it seems that there are more options like these, meanwhile the amount of stat needed to trigger the kiss scene mentioned above was only 2.
I get wanting to have the ro’s gain affection for you through more “natural” options, or to having the ro fall for you when you’ve seemingly done nothing to garner said affection, but the amount of times this happens verses the stat need to trigger “ro scenes” seems a bit unbalanced, the same goes for some of the inner dialogue from the MC where extra comments would be made when you have enough ro points. Makes it hard to focus on a single ro or none at all.
I know all these scenes are brief and rare compared to the entirety of the game but it does builds up, and it makes it kinda hard to roleplay as say, a stoic character who’s single mindedly focused on improving his martial arts skill when his inner monologue is peppered with tits every now and then.
