I recently played again and I almost got 1000 Ora pressure. I didn’t know it could get that high. but I wasn’t playing on mortal limits, but I also didn’t use the foundation either. Do you have three states of playing to your game?
what are all the taint options
By worse do you mean Muramasa becomes more persistent or the weapons stats become worse?
Muramasa better watch its ass or I’m going to toss it in the ocean.
There’s a point where its little attempts to eat my soul and maim my retainers stop being cute and start being annoying.
I only pray that some poor bastard wrestles it away from me in a fight sometime and gets possessed so I can more directly discipline it.
Finally found some time to play through the newest build and it’s stellar work, as always. It’s not only fun but as witty as previous chapters. The statue building, conning Mao, interactions with siblings during training, scamming Zhu, all hysterical. There is probably more I missed due to not reading the code.
Interestingly, despite the design of the chapter (meaning the hub options), it still felt to me very plot oriented. Perhaps due to the fact that the initial fight with the tryhard pirate mob character and the Tiger Trial sandwitched the plethora of side activity, which ended creating an impression that there is a lot of freedom AND it’s all very main plot oriented. That’s what chapter 3 I think lacks, there is a ton to do and it ends with Fang fight (or gate cycling) but there is no prominent opening. Despite seeing only half of the newest chapter, I still think it is the best one yet.
I know that you plan to add more stuff later so I don’t really want to complain about lack of some options, but I think that there should be more reactivity for weighted clothes in chapter 7, especially during training with siblings and the Trial. Fang, Brass Tiger and maybe the Midorikatai Judge almost beg to comment on you taking even more than other contestants. You could also reveal that Brass Tiger also took on additional weights to hype him more, for example.
Eagerly but patiently waiting for more. And congrats on doubling your patreon following.
I made two, (WIP) Aura Clash SFW Discussion [466k Words (624k Patreon) | Eastern Fantasy | Adventure | Martial Arts] - #1952 by Fero and (WIP) Aura Clash SFW Discussion [466k Words (624k Patreon) | Eastern Fantasy | Adventure | Martial Arts] - #1963 by Fero.
They are slowly growing obsolete but I still used them to play through the newest chapter, albeit due to anon tweaking some things, some choices are more viable than before. For example, dumping two working months and going to the temple for an element and a free skill point are now a tempting choice.
My bad.
I could see about it. You’ll need to spoiler tag almost both of those first paragraphs though, chapter 7 is patreon content =p
I keep forgetting how much of an absolute freak Leona is
I still got Muramasa with Kurokonton and Human background
It will also be an option if your MC was tainted, most typically by doing the ritual with first Taio’s book in Ch.2
Thanks for linking to them! I put the links in the guide.
Also, the guide is updated for an oni mido playthrough.
While replaying this and going through chapter six through each style
The top three I used were kurokonton because Monkey ninja with curse power is honesty pretty cool, a Midoikatai because just to pull the anime reference the Vegeta versus Goku moment from the Saiyan saga, and the Akakiru style because swords with aura just have that cool certain hidden quality no one knows of not even the user and since a oni with swords just sounds cool to me for some reason, And now knowing Murumasa is maybe more than your average cursed sword you find in an evil lair makes the sword more appealing, to me, but that’s just me.
That sounds cool until you realize it’s just a whiny, attention-seeking child who can’t stop clinging to you, constantly demanding your “mortal soul” and draining your energy. (Both mentally and literally)
Kinda wish we could use it as a fish lure in the competition
True but what if we exchanged one of the tao’s for our soul?
I think that this kind of damage should bypass our guard points. Additionally, it adds normal AP but not demonic AP.
So… Angelo is a clone technique right? Like the Taios?
I was just thinking, he’s got that statue as a saint, but he says he’s not a saint, and when he looked at the statue of himself back in the temple, he said the saint in question was still alive. There’s also that voice we hear sometimes when interacting with him.
Add on those other voices in his head always calling out to him, and I’d say that someone like that would either go mad from being pulled every which way all the time… or find a way to be in multiple places at once.
Well, since he said that it’s obviously true. It’s not like a character could ever lie about themselves, after all. /s
MC: “i’m a wolf yokai, honest.”
I’ll explain.
He said “He” isn’t a saint. As in, that body that was answering the question wasn’t a saint. His creator on the other hand, is a saint.
A bit of linguistic slight of hand. At least that’s my guess.
I mean, it’s possible, but a simpler explanation would be that he is the saint in question (which is why he also said that saint is still alive) but he simply lied about him not being that saint.
I think you guys are worrying over nothing.
True enough, but there’s also that meeting at the temple of the Wild Gods, where we press him for an answer about his sainthood, and he deflects and he says that if he had the power of a saint, the gods wouldn’t exist.
Then when we leave the temple, and something destroys it with a Ki technique.
He definitely has a powerful benefactor in his corner, whatever he is. I just think that benefactor is his prime body.
