I see you have the right priorities lol.
Mc keeps thanking his ancestors, I’m guessing his a shinto or something.
Without giving any spoilers, do we get introduced to any new flings like shrinemaden Nina in chapter 7?
People have talked about a fox girl in a graveyard. I can only assume it’s at chapter 7.
Ya know, I think it would be cool if we could get a Soul Treasure from the Lightbringer if we defeat it——Definitely feels like the kind of Boss Fight that should end with a reward of some sort considering how it’s actually kind of challenging to kill it without proper prep (first time I had to use Alchemy mid combat to get the Agility cores to fire the Ballistas and stuff).
Why not just grab it? It only costs 2 points of dignity- I mean, prestige.
Oh. You mean like an item. Nevermind. Maybe we can craft stuff in nanhou, that would be cool.
You can get one. And it’s worth 2800 AP. You just need to put on the big pants and admit to the Archon that you’ve killed the Lightbringer because you wanted its soul treasure.
Oooo, I always chose the option to be a dik and just talk back to him lol Thanks for the tip, gonna go admit my greed to the guy now
On dashingdon. But I started playing only after the last update was aired. Or were there additional changes during the last few days?
By the way, if you made some changes, they succeeded. There was some reset of progress, but when I replayed the visit to the temple, I haven’t received an error anymore.
So does deceiving Taio 2 with 3 deception have any effect? Would be nice if you got +5 AP since I always end up using the blessing + 2 manuals to get 3 deception
Anyways I think I have figured out my main Path. Here are my stats at end of chapter 6.( Athletics is 2 actually, I keep it 3 with hand seals and the background is Herbalist)-
Only way I can think of improving this score is by actually cycling shards(0 shards cycled in my run)and Not sparing that tiger you meet in chapter 4
It’s actually a catgirl not a foxgirl
Yes. If you don’t provide him any info (either lying or not talking at all) you get 5 AP and achievement:
*if (taioknowledge = 0)
*if not (jadedragonfoundation)
*achieve speaknoevil
*set aurapressure + 5
That’s kind of a waste of decent amount of AP you can get fairly cheap if you cycle shards early.
I see. I guess since the increase is not mentioned so I missed it.
I mean, don’t you automatically cycle all your shards when you unlock your aura?
And After that I have to do a lot of shopping in chp 3 . My shopping spree :
Buy Western auspicious seal(Athletics and Persuasion), steal hungry spirit seal, Sell 17 Alchemy reagents, buy 1 ritual component.
Use the seal with chi to get +1 Persuasion, beat Bo in racing, Haggle and sell the painting. Convert nearly all my Silver and gold(Leaving 300 silver for no particular reason)
Buy 4 weighted clothing, 3 Skill Manuals and the blessing(Deception).
After that increase Athletics to 2 by training and go and get Earth element to restore my Chi and get lore 3 effect for Library research
Hmm you might want to check out the guide(s) posted/referenced a bit upthread – depending on how you go about it you can raise enough money for all your shopping needs and still wind up with solid number of shards for some 100-200 extra AP if not more.
Checked it out. Kinda insane ngl
Though I still prefer to train with Kosuke and the twins(Sure hope that helps in the future), so yeah can’t exactly follow it through. Did give me some ideas to try though.
Btw does going for element training increase Jin’s combat stat? Also would be kinda nice if training with Jin after the trip increased the AP you gain from it
It can have impact, if you attend the training after you help Jin unlock his aura. He can then contribute to the fight with the Grim and get +1 to stat, though i don’t remember if there’s any extra conditions there.
Last dream is going to be the white phosphorus grenade of this game. No one will want to use it because we might need it later.
I hope the brand doesn’t have a time limit or explode on us at some point. My MC will show it to his grand kids.
“Whatever it takes, Jack.”
