AP cap would not even matter for hardcore readers cause they would just edit the stats

Ah, yes, completely normal thing of meeting long dead founder of that one element monastery sect.
That’s pretty normal for a martial art story AND the power up he gives us is pretty normal too and we got it the normal way, even if his method was probably unorthodox.

Loved this!
Feels well paced and the power/status progression feels meaningful without degenerating in a too fast escalation.
There’s always at least one choice that suited my tastes, it never felt like my character was forced to behave against his personality.
The world felt cohesive.
There’s the right amount of humor and seriousness, the jokes don’t influence the plot and the humor makes the game more alive.
The choices felt meaningful enough to keep me immersed in the story for hours, but that’s also due to the characters that felt well established and busy living their own lives.
I wouldn’t know how to tune the fighting system but, whatever you are doing, it worked well for me and I felt I was putting my own chosen “arsenal” to use.
To tell the truth, I played feeling a certain enjoyable weight and risk in the fighting (but not only fighting related) choices. I always felt things played out well enough and i got good enough results. I don’t know if stuff can actually go heavily suboptimal, but the feeling it could was there at the very least, and it kept me interested in thinking about my actions.
Whatever you are doing, it worked for me.

Truly a great story and a great game, the amount of customisation and branching is really impressive, especially for only 9 months’ work, every path is varied and unique and the systems are deep but easily understood.
I’m genuinely excited to see where this goes next, best of luck with development.

Okay. First of all… What a ride!! I actually said “oh no, what the bloody hell?!” when it ended. I can’t get over how amazing this story is. Thanks for creating a supportive family that are so fun to be around-- I especially liked how bratty the twins were, the dad’s desire to throw down with a human war god, and that you can train both of the twins! And I really liked how you don’t have to be a thief to keep up a good relationship with your best friend. They’re a great character to bounce off of with an honourable martial artist. Plus, the manure explosives?? When they threw that extra barrel and cheered??? I snorted out loud, fr.
Also. Like, is it totally terrible that I actually like Mao?? Like kinda sorta would totally smash lmao. Honestly, I threatened to gut the guy when he was speaking bad about mother, but damn if that waste of space isn’t so amusing to watch pick on my character who is so humble and powerful (and kicked his sons ass) that it pisses him off. Deffo enemies-to-lovers there in my dreams.
By the way, that plot twist during the trip to the temple??? I WAS THROWN OFF A CLIFF!!! Wtf, you’re good at catching me off-guard. And I’m really looking forward to how this all unfolds for my cinnamon-roll Cursed User whose gonna be hated and feared by the majority but helps little old ladies cross the road, and bows at pedestrians.
Seriously, I can’t wait to see where this all goes. You’re a bloody fascinating writer. Good luck ahead!

Is there a way to get a Roc without being a Midorikatai?

You need the Trapper background rather than the Midorikatai style. A different pet option will unlock for Midorikatai in the Trials.

What background or race goes with the Aoyusumu style to give you the special background thing?
(Ex: Blacksmith+Akakiru= special background)

I play just the same (A bull Yokai with high levels of power and resistance)! I was actually coming to ask anon-san if he could add descriptions or bonuses for headshot attacks for people who choose to have horns and a tail (Like if you choose to play as a cow Yokai, you can have Huge breasts, which give you bonuses for deception and persuasion).

My gendered variables were added in after ~100k words so there were a lot to miss, hopefully caught them all for the next update.
@Lucas_Gendron for Aoyu there isn’t one which is made up for with a 10 point exp boost no matter your background

So @cultivator-anon I want to ask you what if scenario that is not canon or head cannon I just want the reaction of Mao if he learn somehow that the mc his son and the reason that he did not know that because he forgot that he slept with the MC mother and I want to know the mental gymnastics that that is going inside of his head that realizing that he tried to sabotage his superior child and favoring the weaker one which is AKA Jack so basically all of I’m asking I want Mao pov and reaction about to this scenario and the reason that I’m asking for this the irony and how funny the scenario is
