Today marks the 1 month anniversary since I returned, and in that month I’ve finished 56k words in the chapter and 4k elsewhere, bringing us to 102k total. There is still, unfortunately, much to write, but it’s progressing fast.

Well the original plan was to finish a week ago with even more content than planned in less words, so I have been an optimist about how many words the branching takes lmao.
In a perfect world I finish all of this hub by EOD Monday, then do a fight next week and start on a second set of small options. After that I spend a week on another fight and playtesting. If everything goes perfect I can release the Patreon build at the end of the month with a ~135k chapter which is bigger than some published games.
After that I take a 3 minute break to go to the bathroom, then I start chapter 7 so the freemium players get their content too. I should see my children again in early August.

Don’t get burned out, anon. We want to play the next chapter but not at the cost of you ruining yourself and the project because you didn’t pace yourself. Don’t be too stressed out, missed deadlines happen and no one dies because of them. Good luck.
