You’re not alone, a lot of people aren’t comfortable with harems or polyamory for certain reasons. But cultivation works are for the most part Black-haired-OP-Harem-God simulators, so I’m not at all surprised that there’s an option for a harem here lol. I’d be more shocked if there wasn’t since this is a choice-based game that caters to the fandom and it would make a lot of regular cultivation fans sink into the fantasy they like.
Personally, I just want some more toxic femMC love after losing that rival-romance.
Far from the only one, but as long as it’s optional then i’d say it’s fine. Plus, like yelhsa says it can be viewed as kind of a staple for the setting/genre.

First of all I have found a consistent trend of certain bugs/incompleted parts. I think the least I can do to help is to actually point them out and tell you about them, hopefully making your life easier in return. Here they are:
Wolf Yokay run:
The mc has a run that doesn’t seem 100% consistent with the beast options.

The mc doesn’t seem to be regarded as a wolf yokai by the writing, so that will take more work I guess.
Mc is not capable to remove the pin holding the chains in place and instead needs to ask for Tiaan Fang’s help (despite mc being a wolf yokai or Kitsune themselves).
Suggestions:
Check writing in the training arc/2nd fight vs Taio for the Wolf Yokai/Kitsune MCs
Maybe introduce the option of the mc removing the pin themselves with their teeth.

This last suggestion only applies to the run where mc is a wolf yokai though.
I know I am absolutely late, but I have a suggestion for the sea events.
Maybe arriving to the Location of the tournament with a giant beast’s corpse that tried to attack the ship. Maybe the bird beast can hunt and it results in an increase of prestige for mc’s clan.
The other is flying aboard the bird beast, after arrving to the location the mc character can fly in their pet and make a grand entrance to the tournament.
Fighting a giant beast to gain more power.

Every teacher helps you in some way to get out of the prison cell, Fang helps you with the chain, if you weren’t with her then you would have the option to rip off the the chain by yourself.
Fang says that you aren’t a wolf beast which is true, you aren’t one, you are a Wolf Youkai.
There are a few Kitsune parts which are not polished and will be fixed in the next update according to anon.
But yes, we are also here to point out errors and stuff.

Fang says “you’re not a wolf beast” because you’re a wolf Yokai. But that’s in reference to your wild chi. It’s a mentality to remember as a practitioner of that style: YOU ARE NOT A BEAST. I was a lunargoth when she told me that and that was all she said, “you are not a beast.” But since you’re a wolf yokai, she is specifically telling you that you’re not a wolf BEAST. You’re a yokai. A person that thinks and overrides instincts and beastial nature.
Then, in the prison… before they take her away, she lunges at you and damages the cuffs. The help “from her fangs” is from that attack of hers. It damaged the seals on them just enough to give you the strength necessary to rip them out.
Then the part where you yell for the wolves instead of howl to them is, again, because you’re a yokai and not a beast. THOUGH, I do think it’d be a neat little flavor text to let a wolf yokai howl even if it doesn’t work. But it’s pretty clear that even Fang doesn’t talk to them in their vocals.

Well in asia where cultivation story normally happen it’s fine with Polygamous relationship as long the dude is powerful/rich enough, not being gold digger here but having kids is not exactly cheap and love alone can’t feed the family.
I wonder what Author stance in this (for the story) is polyandry allowed just like polygamy? Since MC have clan to build having several good gene would be nice.
My only reason is Kosuke though, the guy has been through thick and thin with MC would be sad if leaving him hanging to dry.
