Ah, that’s what happened, then.
Might be a little selfish request from me, but I use Aster as custom male name, having thought about the name and choice after the intro of how the protagonist arrives and gets adopted by Alta. Sounds like a name that she would pick for us, if she actually knows greek/latin, as this can mean ‘star’. So if possible, I’d like to see you add Aster as boy name and Stella as girl name, and make nicknames for them too. I wish to see what you can make with these - in my humble opinion really fitting - names.
osananajimi is one of my favorite coupling tropes, and I think recently the childhood friends don’t have enough chance in most series, so I’ll take any morsel of that you’ll throw at me
You might want to change Kiyoko’s name when the character is chosen as a male. Kiyoko is a female name; specially the “KO” part.
Kiyoshi could work.
I want an option to punch him the next time nicknames my MC. Those names are extremely creepy for me. Way too cheesey and over enthusiastic… @halfmooncroissant.
First of all, PLEASE more save slots. Three are just not enough to wring all the embarrasement out of cute little Lucilia.
Second, I love all four interests, they all are quite fun to interact with and very distinct and interesting on their own.
I felt the same in that scene. It got annoying quickly so there definitely should be a choice to tell them to stop
I was thinking about that. “Ko” means child here, Kiyoko as a whole “pure child,” but I actually don’t know if the name being classified as feminine is a societal thing or a cultural thing. If it’s the latter, then I want to change it to remain respectful. If it’s the former, I may or may not change it since I suppose this is a different world with a different society. Regardless, I really really appreciate you bringing this to my attention! Thank you!
I got you! Already discussed and will be fixed in the next update! Probably removed as a whole, at the very least toned down and given an option to express dislike.
Thank you so much for the feedback!!
I’ve put it down in my to-do list–very easy fix!! I hope 5 is enough to lovingly embarrass Luce all you like.
Also, thank you so so much. I have a lot to learn, but I’m always glad when people enjoy them all in their own way. It’s my greatest wish to have people torn between as many RO’s as possible.
Thank you again for reading!!
Will be fixed in the next update!! So sorry about that, all, and thank you so much for your feedback.
I think you’re talking about the cutesy nicknames, so I thought I’d chime in. I actually love them! I think you should keep it, with the option to say it’s annoying after the first meeting. Then he can turn it down (or even off) if you expressed that to him. It would show his respect for your opinion, but also keep it for those of us who like it
The Carris scene will be fixed in the next update! I most certainly missed the mark for what I wanted to do, and I can’t thank you all enough for your feedback. I hope this won’t deter you from getting to know him!
Aside from some clunky wording, I have a lot of other fixes I wanted to toy with. Specifically, seeing where I can change things based on MC’s personality choice, tweaking stat gains (they’re a bit too large right now and also missing from the end of ch2), adding more neutral-positive-polite choices, and more small things. My goal was to make your choices matter, and for me sometimes even small lines alluding to previous choices make it feel so much more alive. So I wanted to complete that as well.
Gwen’s meeting also fell flat for me. I realize I forgot to add something that might make them a little more intriguing and encourage the player to get to know them better. It’s minor, but I think it’ll make a difference.
Those are most of my plans though. They shouldn’t take awfully long, but I’ve been working on college essays lately, so I apologize deeply for any potential delay! Thank you all for being amazing!
That’s also true, and something I was thinking about doing! My only issue is coding it (would basically double all of Carris’s scenes) but to be fair, it’s fairly easy to accomplish, since all I’d have to do is backspace.
Either way, it wasn’t my intention to have it in basically every other sentence, so it will be modified. But I’ll definitely take this into consideration!! Thank you so, so much
Like she said… If she likes she likes. Some likes hyper emotions and some doesn’t at all, so giving options like asking him to tone it down or completely stop with the nicknames or overenthusiasm of his is a good idea imo.
I actually liked Gwen. Favourite character to unwind along with from everyone else being so incredibly hyper.
Just me or this feel like a Harry Potter game?
Also, @halfmooncroissant when you reply? You can use 1 reply to reply to everyone.
Like this: @commenter1 @ commenter 2 @commenter3…and so on. It help so it doesn’t act all spammy.
As for pet? yeah I know I’m late to the party!
From Forgotten realm, I pick the Displaced Beast!
I still have the old copy of D&D and this is how it looked in that version.
Otherwise, I pick Bebilith.
(Fair warning, if you are scared or have a Phobia of spiders, don’t click the Bebilith link.) Also, these aren’t your run-of-the-mill spiders
Looking forward to the next Update!
Displacer Beasts are awesome, and that Bestiarium one is particularly gorgeous, but I think they’re IP protected.
Same for the Steel “we totally didn’t watch Alien right before we drew this, we swear” Predator:
Oh yeah. I forgot about that…boo!
“Ko” does stand for child, but it is used for female names. In Japanese certain endings are used for female names and certain endings for male.
Culture is interconnected with society. So it’s more nuanced than just culture or society. I wouldn’t be able to say myself
I have my thoughts about this, but I think it’s best for a Japanese person to chime in. They’ll understand it more and be more helpful
